I just remembered Rabindranath's lines ...

" Awake my heart , upon this blessed pilgrimage
By the vast shores of the sea of Bharata's great humanity "

Despite it's obviously biased British perspective in this video ...a seldom spoken fact that the British narrator acknowledged during last few seconds of video was that Indian independence marked beginning of fire of Freedom that spread like wildfire from middle east to Asia when doubts about Britain's and Europe's ability to hold on to its colonies were bolstered by liberation of India....and many more countries were liberated from European rule.

NICE and precious video reminding me my Grand mother and grand father migrating bare foot from Indian state of Patiala , my grand mother told me the happenings of migration and the massacre carried out there . This really gives us the value of freedom . Thanks Allah we are a free country and i am telling the story of my grand parents to my kids who are noway aware of the grievances of their forefathers.

Glad my family moved from sialkot to Delhi :)

Hindustan zindabad! At least they dont call me mohajir here :D
Why on earth would anyone call you a mohajir when it's a known fact that you are an Indian citizen.Besides i think the term "Mohajir" applied to those people who migrated to modern day Pakistan from the Indian states of Bihar and U.P.:coffee:
