India to pay Russia for arms, ammo it sells to Afghanistan

It's now a clear fact that none of our neighbors want an unstable, undeveloped, poor, insecure Afghanistan except Pakistan!

In general the attitudes of our Tajikistani, Uzbekistani, Turkmeni, Iranian brothers and Indian friends have always been supportive and reliable towards Afghanistan; The one and only Pakistan is exceptional in this regard.

Surely this military assistance of India for Afghanistan will mean alot for ANSF and will massively boost ANSF's fire power against state enemies; rest assured the dynamics in Afghanistan has totally changed since cold war era the propagandists predicted many BS for Afghanistan since 2011 continuously up to 2014 but nothing changed the will of Afghan people and Afghans proved themselves victorious on many critical challenges like security transfer, prison transfers, inking multiple strategic agreements, loya jirgas and recently presidential elections. Things are getting better day by day and the awareness of Afghans is higher than ever in regard to geopolitical issues, security, freedom, unity, democracy and well understanding of their enemies!

Everybody was so excited when the discussion was about toilets. When I asked something related to this thread, suddenly there is silence.
So let me try again.

every thing will be provided ....whatever they need/....
slowly and securely....
u don't have to worry much abt it......
slowly because they need time to adapt themselves to new weapon system and they will become professional with time....
and securely because we don't want our enemies to know much of it........

And what are those tactics.
Your media is shouting out loud that you are going to give weapons to Afghanistan. Where is the tactics in it?
If and when you decide to give those weapons it will have to get approval from atleast four governments. You think you can keep such a deal secret? Come on, who are you kidding?
The truth of the matter is that it's just talk. If you have something solid then show it otherwise shut it.

The point is same as your government is trying to do: Ensure a stable Afghanistan and recreate the India-Afghanistan-Russia strategic triangle in the region.

Afghans need stability and for that they need military equipment. Sadly, we are not offering them our own weapons because our imilitary industrial complex is very weak compared to Russian complex.

Both Russians and us are keen to see a stable, democratic Afghanistan that moves forward, keeping all the hard past in the past.

You on the other hand in many threads claim that you also want Afghanistan's stability because you house Afghan refugees.

Then why support terror groups in Afghanistan? The faster you help them get on their feet along with us, the faster your refugee burden will reduce.

My emphasis was going with this thread's OP. I would rather not be dragged into arguments about who is supporting terrorism and where. India also has plenty to answer on that count.

So again.
Afghanistan as everybody can see, desperately needs heavy weaponry. The current equipment of the ANSF makes it at best an infantry. To qualify as a proper military they need to get armour, heavy artillery and fast jets to name just a few.
The news article claims India wants to buy Russian equipment for Afghanistan, but it doesn't give any detail. What I am asking here is why does India not provide the weapons that it is manufacturing Arjun and LCA are just two examples.
And if it is procuring equipment from Russia what equipment?

Lol what a joke
When 28 country from nato cannot do shi$ with their latest weapons and now india expect ANA with few weapons from Russia will be able to stop TAliban .

2 theories:

1- The government sucks donkey d*ck at churning out weapons of quality in time.
2- Russian military gears are something Afghans are familiar with owing to the olden days.

NATO never wanted to finish Talibans off. You really think that US cannot finish Taliban if they really, really wanted to?

Destruction of Taliban will mean a stronger region with stable countries. The war is just a means to prolong and promote weapons industries in the states. It is a 'risky' investment of the sorts. That, is why there has been no change despite spending so much.

A true superpower never fights others' wars but instead lets the problems fester so that its own position is not touched orchallenged.

I don't understand how India can justify this money while their own people are in dire need of it.

Add to that, all this equipment will get in Taliban hands within 1 year. Maybe that's what India wants, Taliban with new weapons to send to Pakistan.

Afghan have never accepted any Foreign Power Or Their Bit$$es so they will continue to fight till they are successful.
india should take care of its own artillery and ammunition stock before considering supporting ANA.:disagree:

So Nato just Came to AF to Play Dandiya and Spend Trillions of Dollar and now they are going broke.
They tried everything they can thing of but nobody have and nobody will able to break Afghan people will and their honor .

Afghan people are not Taliban. You are simply trying to sell that dead horse to everyone. Taliban= Pakistani military and intelligence. Sure it has foot soldiers that are Afghan but the brain behind them is Pakistani.

Similarly, US had other interests in the region. What happened is that shit went horribly wrong.

They have suffered indeed. But that is because they are not looking at a decisive solution.
