  • The two countries are describing the warming of bilateral ties as the beginning of a ‘new era in the strategic partnership’
  • The delegation visited Air Defence Command of Pakistan Air Force.
  • Saudi delegation has expressed interest in Pakistan’s indigenously produced command and control system.
  • Saudis also want to buy Super Mushshak training aircraft and JF-17 Thunder fighter jets.
  • The delegation, visited the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi and defence industries in Kamra and Wah.
  • The trip is expected to be followed by expert-level discussions on areas that Riyadh would like to benefit from Pakistan’s expertise.
  • In addition to radars and aircraft, the Saudis are keen on training and getting Pakistani experts in their services.

None whatsoever, they sell to the Kingdom every year.

even if they have interest in JFT, we need to think should we be giving/selling JFT to KSA?

Please bless me with an intelligent reason of yours why not to!

No they don't.

There shall not be any sales.

I for once am going to 100% oppose any sales.

There should be one target, Joint production, joint R&D.

Both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia can learn a lot from each other and contribute in each other success.

Yes if they needed, they have most modern jets in there inventory, JFT can extend their strength many more time.

No never in my opinion they wanna export

1- They already have best fighters in their inventory and JFT could be used against other Muslim countries (You may not agree with this but still).
2- We should have concerns what if JFT evaluate by USA, Israel etc other hostile nations towards us... (USA and recently Israel army personal visited KSA bases to evaluate strikes on Iran)
3- Saudis as i know will never trust Pakistani/China technology, they always go for American ones and that is the mentality of people there, if its American Wallahi is the best one :),

Conspiracy theory.

US already has much more advanced jets than JF-17s and there is nothing to learn for them. The reports of visits of Israelis to Saudi arabia was based on Iranian state propaganda.

They are already flying Pakistani made aircraft and have bought Chinese weapons. Saudi military is diversifying its arsenal and we should take the opportunity to sell our weapons and services.

That is a gradual process. If lets say the Saudi National Guards, who as the rumor has it want an air arm, opt for JF-17s, we can transfer them the technology we have access to.

Build their capacity and then move on to develop a program into the future.

1- its easy to say 'Conspiracy theory' without any facts and proper reasoning (But hey i said you might not agree with my first point so leave it)

2- Lol, i agree with you they do have much more advance jets but you missed the whole point here, its not about what you have, its about what you might face in the future, and what are the best possible advance jets can be used against something possible coming in front of us, its called 'evaluating others capabilities'

3- Agreed, we can have proper agreements in place to protect what ever we deliver and restrictions associated with such deliveries.
