ISRO Rendezvous & Docking experiment Update

docking of what? you dont have a spaceship, you don't have access to any space station/lab. docking of what?

how about shut up the big mouth and work harder to deliver results?

Hold on, this time, peaceful has a point. Why would India carry out a docking experiment if there is no manned space flight. Isn't this putting carriage before the horse. First, you need to send man to space. And also put a space module into space. Once that is done, you can try docking. Otherwise, what is the point of docking two modules together? if its just to prove that you can do it, its a waste of resources.

Have you guys read the article? The docking is B/W two IMS (Indian Micro Satellite).

I'll let the Indian guys answer your question.

you mean desperate indian guys?

docking of indian micro satellites? good, tell me when they were launched into SPACE, when the docking was performed in SPACE.

no cheap talk. please tell me when those two satellites were launched and when the docking happened?

I want 3rd party monitoring results that can be independently verified. if you don't understand what is a satellite docking in space, read this:

Space has so many meaning and terms that go around it. They must mean cyberspace. They must have forgotten to type the word "cyber" before space. So they launched the rocket and docked them in cyberspace. And now, there is this one announcement here and everyone Indian here can feel proud.

We all know what China can accomplish. No need to shove it in their face. This will just lower their already low self esteem. Just think about it, what kind of psychological basket case would create a 2030 India superpower movie called "Super"

Aha now i understand what was bothering you.its just a movie . But why are you so worried you are not chinese.

cyberspace? the problem is indians simply can't connect their nation to the cyberspace using their own chips and software.

tell me, what is the best processor designed and built by an indian company?
tell me, how many backbone routers are designed and built by indian companies?
tell me, how many top ranking networking journal articles are wrriten by indians?

The thread was never about China. It was a news about accomplishment of ISRO. Be it small or big in your eyes.
Who cares.

So, not required to convert it to India Vs. china thread.

with a shared culture and history, with a common language, a free trade agreement, 5% of their entire population living right here in Shanghai, plus the link between our DNA, I honestly don't think your dirty trick is going to work.

india vs China? tell me what you have to do such "VS"? a failed economy? a highly corrupted government that answers to no one? or your huge load of rapists? dude, india has already lost the competition, there is no such "VS" going on.

if you still couldn't understand, let me put it this way: your guys are not qualified to be our enemies.

Why do you always talk like an idiot? Did you even bother to read the article before blabbering? Or do you have a comprehension disability?

It clearly says the purpose of docking will be to increase the age of ISRO's satellites like that from IRS, INSAT and IRNSS systems. RVD technology will allow a resupply (fuel, power pack etc) spacecraft to dock with a satellite in orbit and allow for replenishment of fuel and power pack, thereby increasing satellites age.

Now have you got that into that space between your ears? I still doubt it though. Blame the quality of education imparted from where you come from, too.

Why do Chinese a$$es ignite whenever India achieves anything? Their brain farts have started getting pretty obnoxious nowadays.

Chinese satellite movements alarm experts | i24news - Information has a new name

Surely there will be a thread started when the actual docking has been done.

On topic: I know that there is s Student Satellite project headed by NIITEE Minakshi Institute (not sure whether I've got the name correct) and a consortium of 15 or something universities planning a mission in collaboration with ISRO on launching of two Nano satellites and performing inter satellite communication and control. The same team was behind the successful STUDSAT project.

For Chinese members...

why you guys always jump into a news related to ISRO when you have 0% belief on this kind of news source??do you make you guys to read it??or is it we're forcing you guys to reply???

or is it simply chut!y@g!r! that ISRO is performing so well that you guys having a stomachache???

F**K OFF from the thread if you don't like the news..don't jump over it..

topic...

Great news..slowly but steadily we'll develop this tech which will be deployed into ISRO ORBITAL VEHICLE,based on SRE-1(Space Capsule Recovery Experiment),whose launch into orbit for 12 days and recovery was performed back in 2007.

Why does India need to announce to the whole world about simulation experiments?

Just keep that news to yourself like every other country.

Indians want to boast about things that are on paper only or a toy model developed. You can boast when you actually achieve something and not when you have plans. Achieve the result, then boast all you like because you have a right to boast.

Its not like that ISRO calls a press meet and boast about these things. The case is the same with HAL,DRDO etc.
During the events in which scientists/engineers of ISRO participate, they talk about their agency's works which is normal. Online journos then make out a whole story out of those one lines. For example, during my time in an exhbition in Bangalore,I came across a gentleman for GTRE to whom I curiously enquired about the possibility of GTX-Kaveri being integrated into a locomotive engine. He said that they had the plans, but it is unlikely to happen.
Now had I been a journo,I would've created a full page sensational story like "GTRE too orphans kaveri!" or "Fate of Kaveri sealed" and threads will be opened in PDF with chinese and paks bashing kaveri and Indians defending it.

cause we're not so fearful of failure unlike some who have wiped out their cities with domestic rocket failure and embarrassed themselves in front of whole world, and after that, hides their weapons and space tech development under secrecy..you can get any info about most of India's Space and Weapons tech details in the Internet..

Aah just how much free time the chinese have here.......... :D

It's holiday period ..you all will be damned for next 7 days :P

ISRO being a Govt. enterprises is doing wonders!! Best of luck!!
