Well one thing is sure its a legit unveiling unlike previous disasters like painted S-300 drums , stealth jet and of course pizza drone.Congrulations to Iran new goverment seems to have more sense than previous ones but it will take more years to erase Iran's fake unveiling reputation.

BTW while watching the video i couldn't help but notice when UAV is landing at 3:31 landing gear stretching out way too much that landing gear seems to be too weak it will crack from inside at every landing and someday break.You guys better replace it with something more strong.

Hamaseh was a joke, at least its painting and unveiling was, not sure about its capabilities.

We still lag behind in unveiling. They should release all the details (those who are not classified like dimensions, weight and etc) and also some high quality official videos and footages. I hope the new DM changes this course.

What's the main advantage of retractable landing gears to static ones? Does it have any effects on flying heights, flight endurance, maneuvering and etc?

Well quite obviously static gears increase drag and drag reduce, speed, altitude and endurance.

Drag is related as square of speed. Thats why for small slow UAVs (up to ~180 km/h) static gears are ok, they dont affect it much, but for large fast UAVs (over 200 km/h) retractable gear is essential.

I really liked the movie showing the combat scene and hitting the target. Similar to US tech. Add some real IR images of real smugglers being shot! It would be jaw dropping.

don't forget Syria and Iran have a defence pact, thus Iran can LEGALLY operate in Syria along WITH the Syrian Army
