2014 Elections - Grave Implications for India

Modi will only come if BJP gets 180+ and if that happens allies will come too, this whole bogey of secularism will go bust make no doubt about it. I believe he can manage a coalition govt. But 160-170 is more realistic and unfortunately many meer jafers (D4) of BJP want that too.

Bjp needs to gets serious if they want that to happen, they have the momentum on their side but never underestimate their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory specially of D4.

They have less than 1 year to work . . But I agree they have ability to snatch defeat from jaws of victory ...

Hope this food security bill and Money transfer scheme does not unsettle BJP hopes. Remember real voter does not surf internet , read PDF or has anything to do with GDP,CAD ...real voter is in interiors ...the one who voted for UPA last time after loan waiver !

It will be tough. If you followed the recent Parliament session you would know the BJP wanted to discuss Robert Vadra case first before discussing the Food Security Bill. Recently NM too wrote to PM about the shortcomings in the bill.

Thing is these are populist measures. Although in such an economic crisis one would be fool to spend so much on Food security but as the common man has a short memory Congress is absolutely spot on with the timing of the bill.

BJP will try its best but if you see the mood you find people being disgusted with the Govt. So hopes are high for BJP.

Once BJP worker went to interiors of India to spread party network ... Unfortunately people in the village did not know what is BJP ! off course, they knew congress very well . So BJP worker tried to educate village people - " You see there are two kinds of Congress ....One is 'Haathwali' Congress ....which is very bad ....another Congress is good congress it is called as 'Kamalwaali' congress . And villagers understood since then that in India there are two kinds of Congress .

( This is a true story ....)

Jokes apart except some superficial ,ideological differences Indeed BJP is Kamalwaaali Congress !
Raising Vadra issue was afterthought . All along and for strange- mysterious reasons ever since Arvind Kejriwal exposed Vadra BJP tried to go soft on Vadra . Only after when Congress MP from Himachal Pradesh gunned Vadra BJP tried to raise it in parliament . I suspect there must be some kind of tacit understanding between Congress and BJP that's why such burning issue but BJP did not try to exploit it before . Politicians are known to join hands together - even so called arch enemies over some specific " personal " issues.

BJP is an absolute incompetent opposition ! There is political vacuum at Centre . People are totally disillusioned with UPA yet BJP is not able to cash in on that . UPA is losing but NDA is not gaining ...all because of incompetent BJP . There is in- fighting for PM post In BJP even before elections ...And we have no choice other than BJP ...because it is lesser evil .

Are you going to vote for Kamalwaali Congress ? ....Yeh I will vote for 'Kamalwaali ' Congress !!!

Congress will win again:D

They know how to work out voters...Congress wins because of illiterate voters who only understand language of freebies ...

Democracy is the best type of governance system ....but not in country where majority who vote- can't read and write and think and those who can read and write and think - Don't vote !!!

Here is my thoughts..

1- I personally wish BJP to come to power...But honestly i donot feel that it is going to happen.
2- When BJP choose Modi to lead for 2014,that was the only option available for BJP to stay in contention for the race. Trust me..if BJP choose Sushma or Arun...no one will give any fighting chance for BJP to win even 100 seats....And with such a low number of seats, no one will care about BJP in Indian politics...

3- Modi is the most suitable choice at this point of time for me is again because of compulsion of not getting other persons...But some of the attitudes of Modi is not appreciable. I do not like the fact that every time he is always talking about Gujurat in his speech....He has to learn to appriciate the good work from other regional leaders too....Although he has shown the glimpse of it in his Hyderabd speech...I feel he should continue to do it going forward...Otherwise trust me....even BJP with 200 seats with Modi has a head of the party, BJP will not able to form a GOV...

4- Modi has to learn some of the things about humility and passionate approch towards people and other critics of him in particular...This creates a lot of positive vibe in the mind of people who are poor and helpless....

In a nutshell...at this point of time i think it is the advantage to Non BJP parties to come to power...It may be UPA or Congress backed 3rd front....But if Modi want to change the course of history then he has to definitely change his personality and be amicable with different critics of him in a more appropriate way...If he does not do it...then BJP will go to oblivion in Indian political space...Slowly BJP will be turned into a group of rightist regional party with individual leaders of each state running the show in their respective states....

Agreed. They did not press as hard as they should have on that case. They should have demanded a thorough inquiry into the case apart from the halfhearted assurances on TV. Only recently Ashok Khemka came out with further evidence of wrong doing in the case and still we did not see a stern reaction from the BJP. I guess you are talking of the Haryana Congress MP Inderjit Singh who was in news for calling for a inquiry into the case. Correct me if i am wrong.

Its never too late to do the right thing. Lapses have been there in the BJP Strategy but i am happy about the bigger role given to Modi. I do now know whether you support Modi or not but you would agree that he BJP's best bet right now. Atleast the people that i know seem to be completely in favor of him.

If not Modi, who would be your ideal candidate from BJP side?

I completely agree with you ! Sushma swaraj and Arun Jetly have no follower base like modi. And we have no choice .

But I am still little wary of this guy. He is too narrow minded . Some of his ideas are just ...I don't know what to say ...

His idea of getting scrap from every household to build Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel's statue ...I mean I have utmost respect for Sardarji . But you see If India's PM is going to have such rabble rouser populist fantastic looking ideas ...God help he does not experiment something like that with economy ...

He has strong leadership qualities but Indira gandhi was also a great leader ...Her fantastic idea about socialism created mess for India ...although she was a better PM than most of the PMs we had ...

Narendra modi somehow doesn't sound perfect choice ....But we live in imperfect world ....I would say yes to him only reluctantly ...

You may not like him but He's undoubtedly the most popular leader of BJP and the nation at this moment.

Question is not whether one likes him or not ...question is India is facing serious challenges from all corners ...and whether Narendra modi is the man who can deliver on those fronts .

The choice we make today will define our tomorrow .
We are not just choosing a party or leader or even a PM ....but we are choosing destiny for our and all generations to follow !!!

And how different is BJP than Congress both are communal, both play caste politics and both are corrupt.

I said it before ....BJP is only 'Kamalwaali' Congress...
