What's new

Burka Avenger | Pakistan's Animated Female Superhero | Updates & Episodes.

Oh,really, spiderman, robin, batman are still 1970s idea?check out the latest cartoons like justice league, teen titans, they are still following up old fashion..
I don't understand that why the hell you guys have so much hatred for burqa etc...
when you can create cartoons like 'chota bheem' etc on POGO for promotion of your religion, then nobody abused it,but when we did it to give good impression and promotion of our religious culture, then you guys against showed up with your obsessions and objections.

Dude wrong number. I love the burqa. As far as I am concerned, its one more layer to peel off. Heightens the wait.

P.S. Should I change this post? I don't know if shree awesome will again give me some infraction for some arbit "rule" hidden away in some corner here for unsuspecting Indian newbies.

Sir you cant change a man who is filled with venom and hate... just like you cant teach an old dog new tricks.

Bhai, while I am talking to him, a number of people are reading this exchange. Some one may realize the superficiality of his views and examine his own. Nothing wrong with engaging on favorable terms.

Again you are confusing different things.

Talking more about sari would force me into following a tangent. It is really not important. Your simplistic views are again very superficial. The shift away from sari is a mirage. It was never popular to begin with. There are Socio-cultural reasons. Zia ul Haq did not go inspecting people's homes to enforce an anti-sari policy that is conjured by your imagination. Hilarious. As before you are letting your itchy fingers do your thinking. Again you are talking about things you do not know much about.

About Burqa - again you are pulling 'facts' from somewhere without any basis. It is too pathetic an attempt. For your sake, pls stop.

Hate is making you blind.

Shalwar Kameez is a dress which has culturally been with Pathans and Baluchis for centuries. Why does it not have anything to do with Pakistan?

In case you are that hateful of Muslim influence in South Asia, be sure to convince Sikh women to drop the dopatta that they respectfully don during religious observances. Be sure to tell Rajputs that purdah is an evil invention and they best drop it too as part of their traditional culture.

There is nothing particularly outstanding about Indian culture, good or bad. No need to think of it as a unique privilege to be jealously guarded from others. I have nothing against sari, but if facts be considered, it is not important in contemporary Pakistani culture.

Lastly, areas comprising Pakistan have been Muslim majority for many centuries. We are more secure with our culture and we have no problem with shared cultural values with India. Culture is not God.

The only thing you have managed to do till now is show your ignorance.

Ignorance is first displayed when you start using language which shows the background you have been brought up in.
Sari making a comeback in Pakistani fashion | Pak Tea House
The Sari in Pakistan did a disappearing act after it was declared un-Islamic by Zia. But the whole six yards has made a comeback in the form of formal wear as well as in the trousseaus of Pak girls. Therefore, Pakistan is seeing the resurgence of the Saris in a big way. Earlier the Sari was donned by prominent women like Fatima Jinnah, Begum Liaqat Ali and Nusrat Bhutto. However, later Gen Zia declared that saris implied an un-Islamic connotation and that’s when the Saris lost their grip on the Pakistani fashion and gradually started to fade away.

Just because @Contrarian is easy to pick upon because of his superficial views and stupid comments. I am not answering him, I am taking him to cleaners just for fun. I might end up making some random Indian change his mind too.

Doubtful you would be able to change anyone's views...so far all you have managed to do is give out a lot of sermons on how I am ignorant instead of pointing out anything useful.

As I said..this blatant attempt to make burqa desirable to children is pathetic.

@Contrarian. Bhai it is their culture and the path they have chosen for themselves. If you ask me personally, it at least shows the Pakistanis in a way are still closer to us than to the jahils from the middle east who force their women into this, cut off their noses, stone them, bury them, and stuff. At least here there is a positive attempt being made to soften the blow and make the girl feel heroic. Why grudge them that?

P.S. Who's the auntyji in the sari?

Pakistan was closer to us. Almost similar except for religion..confined to mosques and prayers.

Since then however their Mard-e-momin and Army decided that they should try and emulate Arabs.
However Arabization attempts should not be disguised like this one.

I support the Ulemas giving fatwas in KPK that women should not be allowed to go to the markets without male company.
Pakistan is slowly becoming Arabia anyways, but they shouldnt use such backhanded ways as show burqa clad women as heros on TV in Burqa - which the kid would end up idolizing.

It suits India just fine to have a Pakistan that ends up just like Saudi Arabia...the results of that path have been visible since 2005 in Pakistan.

Would you rather they just force their girls and strip them of their dignity and individuality?

Burka Avenger ..... that is a funny name .....

Ofcourse not. They ought to be given a choice.

That's probably off the table from the look of things. I think this way at least the young girl feels heroic. And by the time the stars have disappeared from her eyes and she grows older and reality sets in, she's already used to it and the worst is over.

I wonder how many of the Pakistani girls here on this forum wear a burqa, and are they really anonymous enough to share their true feelings about it without being hounded by the guys.

Oh the vengeance of a feeble mind aided by might strong tapping fingers....

The 'bunch' of pictures you purport to show are a couple of females of Bhutto family (incl. Nusrat Bhutto who was an Iranian by birth and ethnicity), a cross dresser, and a cranked up lady everybody ignores. Good luck Sherlock.

Like I said Sari is not relevant in Pakistan. Some faded old ladies, and Bengali immigrants in Karachi still wear it. Many women keep a sari or two for novelty - and that is the extent of it.

Your efforts to create a faux fact are not only stupid, but also hilarious. You are in full swing in displaying your ignorance. Carry on. Keep a tube of Burnol handy.

Burqa? You know nothing about Burqa, its prevalence, or its place in Pakistani society, and neither is your gibberish relevant. Keep typing. Gives good exercise to your finger muscles.
