It is apparent isn't it? 40 units are operational. The earlier configuration was 18-18 and not it is 20-20 for some while. When the third squadron rises, then a likely arrangement shall be 16-16-18.

So, these squadron sizes change all the time? Suppose there are 23 aircrafts produced. Would that make up one squadron or will be divided into two squadrons? What will happen to the one left over?

at the moment all the a/c are being alloted 50/50 to both 16 and 26 squadron - 20 each. the earlier 8 a/c remain under the T&EW - test and evaluation wing or unit.

What about the other 2 aircraft??

is no authentic source about the RCS of different fighters.

There really cant be, there can only be estimates based on a clean fighter and some knowns.. The known RCS of the F-16 for eg is different to what may be in practice thanks to Have-Glass.
Yet as long as there are external weapons out there, there will always be a minimum that all these 4th gen or 4th gen derivatives will have to be at. Because the radar spike from the missiles will still exist and still show up EVEN if the RCS of the fighter is reduced below a certain level.
And I dont think any nation does or wants to pay the premium of RCS coating and/or shaping of external weapons other than fuel tanks(and that too is usually for 5th gen aircraft).

u thought we have 50 a/c n block 1 production has been stopped as first batch is completed. They r divided into 3 squadrons with 16 in one n 18 in other.

Althrough i am not an expert but as far as i know you need Power to operate radar and that power is produced by engines...

? Says who? Do you know how an aircraft, it's avionics and devices operate man?

And interview given to Pakistani journalist last month and to the Janes in which he also told JF-17 had a DACT with chinese SU-27. All posted in JF-17 Info pool

is there any detailed information ? About the results

Yes it is a mentality problem - and I'm sure it's my mentality that is the problem - God forbid the uniformed geniuses should have... such

3rd sqdn has not stood up. logically 16 x 3 = 48. therefore all a/c are being provided to the 2 sqdn's that have stood up. once the 3rd is announced, the a/c will be allocated to it.

So what abt remaining 2 a/c.

As total batch 1 a/c were 50!!!
and 51 r produced as one was crashed.

Sir,

Sarcasm needs to have limits too---chinese built aircraft---chinese article---. When you slam the door hard---at times it hits you back.

No Sarcams intented, just asked for the/a source, since the only I knew were the official manufacturer spec board (105km) and the Chinese article (130Km).
If I intended any sacrasm, I would have made a remark to alimobin memon believes, that KLJ 7 could have the same range against the same target as a 900mm PESA radar, but I didn't and just asked for a source. :coffee:

42+8 were produced. 1 attrition. 49 left. you can decide where to allot it....
