A picture equals a thousand words, here's a picture taken in January 1972, soon after the 1971 India, Pakistan war. During the 14 day war, India amongst other exaggerated air victories, claimed the destruction of six PAF Mirage aircraft fighter/bombers. The PAF order for 24 Mirage-III of various versions was widely publicised in the late sixties. However, after the war, PAF lined up 22 aircraft at Sargodha before the international observers, one aircraft was going under repair to it's landing gear, while one Mirage was lost earlier due to a flame out, hence not a single Mirage was lost during the whole conflict. Thus the image bursts the Indian claims and exposes their propaganda war.

Never once have i posted this colour image before, and never once have you been able to prove a single Mirage causality, let alone six. !!

maybe for someone it matters who lost how many planes/guns/tanks. For me what matters is who achieved its objective. In wars mission are taken to complete your objective even if that means you take more losses. If you cannot defend yourself, what is the point of having all planes intact?

Friend, please accept that Pakistan won 1947 kashmir war ,1964 kashmir war,1971 liberation war, 1999 kargil war, Siachen, Bana Post, Sircreek, and also war in NWFP, TTP, World war 1 and 2 ans so many.

71 was not terrorism, and Bangalies was not terrorist, they were freedom fighter and we have only given them moral and dipomatic support. What you wants to get, Bangladesh

Assuming this pic & the contents of post No1 to be true, it defies logic that with so many aircraft intact Pak lost half of itself and could not impose any crippling damage to India.

Cannot understand why every now & then a ' feel good' thread is created.

I do not understand how discussing who won the last will help in the next war ?

What can & should be discussed are in human aspects of the wars we fought and how precious little was achieved despite loss of lives and financial aspects of the wars and events that follow wars in our part of the world.
