Problem is with DRDO, And unlike Chinese we not in habit of photocopying stuff and is any country barring Pakistan (which swears by its F16s ) interested in buying Chinese fighter planes.

It is better not to opt for any Chinese made products at least where defense matters are concerned. Hope Russia will keep this in mind in future deals. Better be safe than sorry.
