India Supporting Taliban-US Intel Official

Asim

We have to make it the US's problem since the consulates are operating under US protection

We certainly donn't want ot create any problems for the US, like I said before, Will and capability, these speak for you.

We can't get to them without the US's clearance or US butting out of the middle.

Will and the capability to exercise that WILL!!

If you follow Mr. Qureshi's article you will note that he too does not want to point fingers at the US or the Indian, so long as Pakistani politicians will ensure that the agenda of others is followed - what can I tell you - it's clear that neither Will nor capablity need to be causes for concern for our friends across the border.

And lets be mindful that those planting bombs and killing Pakistani police and soldiers, are Pakistanis - :blah::blah:

Fair enuff - where there is smoke there is fire --- it's not really a problem of or for either the US or India -It is really a Problem for and of Pakistan and for it to deal with effectively.

Pakistan has done enough , we can not do more for US now ,enough is enough ,WOT is not our headack.

Pakistan Government and the Army has played into India’s hands by waging war in its own territory against its own people, who do not agree with the slavish pro-US policy.

Army operations in FATA and Swat have created a fertile ground for possible Indian proxy infiltration. By pitting PA against Pashtuns in FATA both the US and India wanted to weaken Pakistan to an extent where it accepts the status of Bhutan in South Asian perspective. Secondary goal appears as cutting the frontline strength of PA on the eastern borders by 40-50% without firing a shot.

Fortunately TTP and the people of FATA refused to take the Indian bait. TTP offered full support to PA following the India after the Bombay incident.

BLA and Baloch grievances need to be addressed in a sensitive and compassionate manner. The muder of Sardar Akbar Bugti was a heinous crime; Musharraf should stand trial for his murder. Baloch people should not be disenfranchised; they should be given rights over the tremendous resources of their province. Akbar Bugti has gone back to his creator. Doing some justice to his mission for the Balochi rights will help heal the wounds.

Dear Anwar,

There are only few black sheeps who are playing in US hand ,we have to identify them and get ride of them.

Musharaf drama should be finished now.

If india has great consideration of human values why dont they help Sumali,Uthopians ,why they are more kind with Afghan :woot:

It mean these is hidden agenda , :azn:

It means asking pakistan why are u supporting Kashmiri insurgents why don't you support Palestinian, Iraqi insurgents..!!!(Well who knows:rolleyes:);)

Well apart from the joke, there is no Hidden agenda it is very clear afghanistan is of strategic importance for india, in terms of trade and interms of its geography. We had a good relation with them intrepted by the taliban rule. And also the massive reconstruction plans provide opportunites for Indian Companies. So don't ridicule those who are trying to help. And do the needful to make sure a stable country comes up in afghan:enjoy:

Dear S-2:

"occupying power", is it? That's a steep hill to climb with forty one nations and the U.N. closely watching near all aspects of matters under a collective mandate no less. I'm a bit surprised.

This is exactly why I love America and the American people. You guys just cannot swallow being branded as Occupiers or Colonialists, even while your Government is perpetuating one of the most brutal and draconian occupation in recent history. “Occupation” is so alien to your nature.

You may possibly miss some heartbeats when you talk of the “41-member coalition of the willing” and the UN!

You know the reality of those 41 nations and why nations like Fiji have thought it prudent to send 12 soldiers in response to the breath down their neck.

Some like the UK, Australia, Canada act out their fantasy of the Anglo-Saxon colonial glory; they will always be there even if you attack Central Antarctica!.

Others are beggar States like Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia; the poor guys are hard pressed to justify their existence as new or aspiring members of NATO.

Kirghizstan too was a valuable member, till they began demanding a fair price for the use of Manas AFB.

Germans are probably the wisest. They have chosen the tranquil orchards of Kunduz, Mazar and Balkh as their abode amongst friendly Uzbak population. Amongst all the PRC’s, German record is the best, they spent some serious money in reconstruction, have earned respect and made friends.

Clear you mind that muslims are just like one body ,where ever there is muslim need justice or help all muslims should help them.

But Hindu government killing muslims in kashmir worried about muslims in Afghan looks funny:lol:

We know your dreams very well but they will remain dreams:smitten:

PREDATOR, at a minimum, will continue (evidently with your concurrence:agree:) until such effectiveness been demonstrated.

We only care about insuring that the afghan people, ISAF and the NGOs are safe from attacks coming from within your nation. After that, fairly, the rest is on us.

As to your other problems, I'd suggest a round of discussions between the foreign sec'y of India, Afghanistan, and Pakistan-maybe Iran too. You guys hammer out the "he said, she said" of it all.

You are losing your nerves come on man dont cry  , now NATO honey moon is finished.:smitten:

US have to pay heavy price what ever they will do from now on ward in FATA.:enjoy:

Dear S-2:

Its kinda amusing when you try to play upon the fears about “Pashtunistan”. Please do some homework to understand the background and dynamics of “Pashtunistan” phenomenon.

The main proponents of Pashtunistan are now entrenched US allies!! (ANP “pro-Nationalist” party of Asfandyar Wali Khan).

• Pashtunistan term was first used by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan of Indian National Congress in 1946 during the Referendum for accession to Pakistan. Unlike all other provinces NWFP opted to join Pakistan, congress was defeated.
• The first Afghan backed Pashtunistan armed incursion was waged in stages between 1957-1961. Pashtun population did’nt buy stuff.
• In 1973 Ajmal Khattack ANP leader re-kindled the Pashtunistan movement from Kabul, didn’t gain much traction.
• Pashtunistan gained a new lease of life under the Soviet occupation in the early 80’s. Ajmal Khattack backed by USSR, India and Babrek Karmel Afghan Government emerged pretty strong. They even formed a sort of “Interim Pashtunistan Government” in Kabul in 1982.
• But once the Soviets left Afghanistan Pashtunistan movement collapsed like a pack of cards. ANP lost its power base being bracketed with the Soviet occupation. They could never recover from the debacle.

Taliban are deadly against the concept of Pashtunistan. They hanged its strongest supporter President Najibullah when they entered Kabul.

TTP or the people of FATA have not subscribed to Pashtunistan despite the massive Pakistan Army operations in the area. The struggle is not about the Pashtun identity, even though most of the victims are Pashtuns. The ranks of Mujahideen are swelled with people from Sind, Punjab, Balochistan and Kashmir as well.

Thanks. Assistance from an unlikely source. Never did I think it would be you. I'd forgotten of this and more...

"TTP offered full support to PA following the India after the Bombay incident."

Certainly puts paid to any notion that Mehsud and RAW are in bed. I'm appreciative.:agree:

"You know the reality of those 41 nations and why nations like Fiji have thought it prudent to send 12 soldiers..."

I'm reminded of Karl Marx and his "Critique of the Gotha Program"

"all the springs of co-operative wealth flow more abundantly—only then can the narrow horizon of bourgeois right be crossed in its entirety and society inscribe on its banners: From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs!"

I hope that helps.:agree:

"You guys just cannot swallow being branded as Occupiers or Colonialists"

No. We prefer full-blown occupation by virtue of total victory over a prostrate and BEATEN foe. Life's much easier than all this "softly, softly" coalition crap. So undeserved too. We do all the hard work. We should get to steal most of the oil but it never works out that way. Go figure.

"...even while your Government is perpetuating one of the most brutal and draconian occupation in recent history."

Doesn't compare next to the taliban's actions against afghans today, the afghan civil war, nor the Soviet-Afghan war. Discerning observers with some dispassionate sense of proportion understand this.

You're clearly not of that ilk.

"Amongst all the PRC’s, German record is the best, they spent some serious money in reconstruction, have earned respect and made friends."

Be sure to send a gift of beer and bratwurst. They'll be appreciative.:agree:

Dear Anwar

Unfortunately that is a part of history that is most tragic. Even before partition, when direct elections were held between the IML and the secular INC the only place that people voted against the Muslim league were the Pashtun. The leader that time was Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan. He held sway in the entire area now US struggles and Osama hides and Pakistani's can't control. Khan Abful Gaffar Khan was Pro India and Anti Partition. He was called the frontier Gandhi. He lived 3 decades under house arrest in Pakistan till his death almost 2 decades ago.

It has all changed from that time. There is no Gaffar Khan now, no Gandhian Muslim leader, a man whose principles and ethos found reverberation indirectly even in Indian cinema is no more. That same area now has been Talibanized. Every single one of them literally. There is now no way for anyone to root out what we consider evil, but an act of War. Let the Pakistani GOI do it or the US.

Yeh a real Oktoberfest Super-Stien (2-litres) to our German friends!

One to your health too! That should help steady your nerves while you figure out a way to steal the worlds oil!

Wish you guys had re-elected Geroge Bush for the 3rd term vide a constitutional amendment.

Ksxyboy:

I have the greatest respect for Abdul Ghaffar Khan, he was a towering figure who stood for his principles, and greatly suffered for what he believed in. I did not agree with what he stood for, but admire him as a “BUZURG”.

Yes INC defeated IML in the 1935 provincial elections. But the Congress government made a mess on a grand scale. Its reputation nosedived due to rampant corruption and excesses. Abdul Ghaffar Khan was a broken man and essentially left electoral politics, focusing on his Khudai - Khidmatgar movement.

The 1946 Referendum had a single point agenda, it was not a general election. NWFP voted to join Pakistan by an overwhelming margin.

"Wish you guys had re-elected Geroge Bush for the 3rd term vide a constitutional amendment."

Wrong guy. His last name isn't Chavez. Two terms is plenty for everybody and too much for some. Helps solidify the position and eliminate any potential for "cults of personality" to emerge.

Nice treatise on Pashtunistan.
