Actually.. you can find Turkish Pilots in there F-16's with Pakistani flags during this air show. Before the air show some turkish and pakistani pilots switched flags as a gesture of friendship.

Well i do remember that- but the problem thats bugging me is-
In an airshow the pilots should only wear their country tags- they are there to represent their country after all- not the friendship- thats called professionalism-
There is a reason professionalism demands you to brush aside your personal feelings- preferences-

Here we go again- delusional Pakistanis talking about Ummah again-
There is no such thing as ummah- no same interests- no same flag- no same currency- Arbi- Ajmi- bhai bhai- its all BS- time to adopt- get over them inbreed childhood fantasies- flag barriers my a55- :hitwall:-

For one i would love some other muslim country to show the same gratitude we Pakistanis show for them- which ummah airforce will reciprocate- and strap a green and white Pakistani flag- to celebrate the firendship- no one- no ummah country even buying jf-17- al-khalid- where the fcukin ummah support for us- for each other? but we love to bring ummah ummah every where---

Its not a delusion. What Pakistan has done for the Ummah??? Nearly a century ago Muslims of the sub-continent went to help the turks and we are still getting benefit from that.

its not a big deal. Can pilots not have some fun? ;)
Its not like Turkey and Pak are going to make a big deal out of this.
Sure, it might be a little "Unprofessional," but they did it anyway.

i can perfectly see what you are trying to say and to a degree you are correct.....but in this case i think its perfectly acceptable to make an exception -- given the nature of brotherly ties between both countries

Pakistani flag is their flag also, and Turkish flag is our flag also. I may be sounding emotional, but im really meaning it.

In your bedroom that is cool-

i used to live there.....i had both flags (the exact same ones) in my tiny apartment bedroom there as well ;)

This "brotherhood" is over hyped too overt, guys need to chill and eat an ice cream...

Sir ji- that was nearly a century ago- we even had othoman empire- or what little bit of it was left then- we need to adopt- this concept of ummah is gone now- just like khilafat-

i dont see ummah any where between- Iran- Saudi- Syria- Bahrain- Libya- Qatar- Kuwait- all fighting each other for different interests- Why we Pakistanis still want to hold on to it- is simply above me-

Pakistani doctors, medics, and others were on the ground in Izmit after the tragic earthquake there well over a decade ago.

Turkish doctors, medics etc. were on the ground in Azad Kashmir area during our tragic earthquake (85,000 killed just like that)

in our case, the situation was so bad with the roads that even some local doctors just 4km away couldnt get there before the Kizilay and other Turkish organizations people had arrived to help the affected.

Turks know that it was Muslims of the sub-continent (many of which today are Pakistani citizens) donated gold and much of their wealth towards the Ottoman Empire; did the same during the Turkish war of independence.

The Turks supported us during our times of war and during other times of need -- when others abandoned us. They did what they could, we've done what we could.

may the friendship last and blossom forever.

I do agree that at the end of the day, countries must be responsible and be able to look after themselves. The Turks have strong leaders; we have a bunch of clowns leading our country. That's the main difference. Leadership is important, that's what we lack.

but anyways, i've totally gone off topic now
