Emirates & Sri Lankan Miss Major air disaster in India!!!!

Yeah, fix some turn indicators, brake lights and hand signals and pilots will sort out their problem among themselves.:partay:

Seems the only fix possible if use must suspend the air traffic controllers;)

Thank god air tragedy was averted!!!!

India should suspend air traffic controls!!!!

There is nothing wrong in this. Busy airports can see more than one takeoffs and landing on the same runway with the minute. So this appears to be far from being dangerous. Sensational journalism IMO.

All hail ignorant journalists.

The Kazakh pilot was not fluent in English and also due to their Russian legacy they were using mtrs instead of feet.

i diidnt knew about it.
but if IGI at delhi had secondary surveilance radar, the tragedy could have been averted.

The real reason was that Kazagh's Ilyushin Il-76 was not able to maintain level flight as per assigned altitude-

the reason why they weren't able top maintain was that, the kazakh's radio operator mistook what the delhi ATC told as he wasn't fluent in english

If the SL flight landed first, and then the Emirates air line flight got on the runway after a minute, then there's no harm. If SL flight is landed then its out of the runways path. The Emirates flight is going to taxi on the runway and the take off.

If the Emirates Flight was on the runway and took off first as the SL flight was landing then there's plenty harm. Depends on the clarification of the story.
