The Formula1 in India

I don't think that's true. The two race postitons are very much still in the wind and if Hulkenburg had been promised a race seat there wouldn't be the speculation there is, as is all three are rallying for the two race seats. Let's not forget Hulkenburg has only been reserve driver for one year, a relatively short period, I believe Di Resta was in similar position with Force India for about 2-3 years. Also Di Resta used to get at least one drive in a practice in one of the two cars (usually Sutil's) when he was a reserve driver, lining him up for a race seat, I'm not sure if Hulkenburg is receiving the same treatment.

my friend.. hulkenberg drove for williams in 2010 season. It's just that he had a disagreement with them & ended up being a reserve driver at force india under the terms that he would be given a seat in 2012 season..if not, he will move away. he is a good driver. it's just that he couldn't bring enough sponsors to get into any team as a regular driver.

F1 will gradually match cricket's popularity in India: Ecclestone

GREATER NOIDA: Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone on Sunday said the sport will gradually match the popularity of cricket in India, adding he was satisfied with the organization of the inaugural Indian Grand Prix.

"F1 is as popular in India as cricket in France but things will improve drastically in the years to come. The media coverage has been overwhelming and people here want to know more about the sport," Ecclestone said at the paddock area of the Buddh International Circuit.

Ecclestone, who celebrated his 81st birthday on Friday, said there are bound to be a few first time glitches but the organisers of the Indian Grand Prix have done a decent job.

"There will always be issues for the first time but Jaypee has done a great job in building this fantastic circuit," said Eccletsone.

When asked about a stray dog coming on the track while the Friday practice session was underway, Ecclestone said: "It should not have happened but it is not a big thing. It happened in Turkey as well."

Time will tell

I love to see sutil in Force India.

overall if you see Sutil has been a failure for that team, whether it's force india or before that spyker ferrari or midland racing team. He has been with them for five years & don't think he had any podium finish with them.

Yes Metallica will be performing in Bangalore today...No issues there. Lady Gaga Is all good to go But she is performing in front of just 1000 people and the ticket to her concert starts from 40,000. So you will see all rich people there.

^^ not sure about that. As is (even here in UK) F1 is still very much a "rich man's sport" and will lack the sort of "grass roots" support cricket very much enjoys. If you go anywhere you will see little children playing cricket, not driving go karts (for obvious reasons), this kind of accessibility will mean cricket remains number 1 sport in India for the foreseeable future.

this will be coming in short time from our neighborhood. They must be in disscusion with China or Dubai.I think it will be Pakistan GP in Dubai.

lol that wont be possible even in 10 yrs, they'll have to start with hosting the icc cricket world cup first
