The diplomatic channels are still intact. The warnings are mere face saving exercises for calming the already enraged nationals.

I dont see anything further than that. As always somebody from white house will visit Pakistan and everything will be back to sqaure one and life will go on.

America will be very much relieved with the death of OBL. They wont be having any more regional ambitions.Remember this very same Obama guy was an opposer of Bush's war and is now claiming the victory on the very same war he opposed earlier.

Yes, all will be normal in the coming days unless:-

1). US carries out more similar kind of attacks.
2). India gets inspired from American actions
3). AlQaida retaliates and goes after Pakistan govt/military/ISI bigshots.

US mission OBL is over ....and for US it did never bother the terrorits activities and attacks happening other part of the world.....

Absolutely. No matter how much proof there is of ISI supporting OBL, the US will continue with its diplomatic relations with pakistan.The US simply has other "interests" in pakistan. And I really doubt they're gonna be leaving Afghanistan anytime soon, as much as the pakistanis here would like to fantasize of withdrawing of NATO and US forces. It's not a possibility.

Was the statement issued for public consumption or they are really serious this time. Afaik even mussharaf also issued similar kind of statements after drone attack took place in Pakistan but no action has been taken against USA by pakistan. On the contrary drone attack has become a norm in pakistan.

1. I dont think US will attempt any more similar attacks. They probably , if have information about anyone would seriously monitor the perimeter and pass the info to PA and check if all works fine.
