@F-22Raptor @Hamartia Antidote huge news!!!

No one from Motorola is switching to Apple. Totally different customer bases.

Ah you are forgetting history

This Motorola Razr was the hottest cell phone back in the day.

This is what the cellphone market looked like before the iPhone wiped everybody out.

I had a Motorola flip phone and switched to Apple just like millions of others

Before the Motorola it was the Nokia.

I had a Cellular One (Motorola I believe) bagphone for my car back in ~1990. That was a rarity. The police thought it was a radar detector and would ask me about it.
The party ended for that around 1995 when it got cloned (suspiciously after I handed my car to LoJack for an alarm install) by someone who charged up $5000 in foreign calls (I didn't have to pay) and I gave up on cell phones in disgust for 10 years (exactly like the above video alluded to with "consumer confidence shaken") and missed the Nokia craze.

Hahaha, you are going way back in time tho. Motorola consumer base are budget minded people. They occupy a very different space in the market now. And make pretty reliable smartphones. Only areas they lack in are camera software and software(os and security) updates. They are actually increasing their marketshare in the US, lately.
