This is just the first of many increases. To make any dent in valuation, it should be at least $1 per liter. So 300 is more like it.

More taxes on electric and gas bills, just wait.. After all PM has a cabinet of almost 80 people and many advisers ..with car and 500 gallon of free gas every month, free electricity, free air tickets and etc etc

in dollar terms, petrol at 95 cents is still a lot cheaper than in India (120-130 cents depending upon state). Diesel at almost 100 is still about 10% cheaper than in India.

Inevitable!

Regards

These fu(k about doing silly things, increase this and increase that to please their foreign masters in the IMF instead of doing things that generate money like explore for oil in the Persian gulf/Arabian sea and the Runn of Kutch areas. We should be getting cheap oil from Russia and not bowing to the blood sucking IMF.

thats nothing compared to the perks the Saudi Royals enjoy. This is state of normalcy the world over.
