The importance of AfPak can't be put into mere words and how important it is stragetically for both entities and specifically at this point in history.

Where both sides have no options but to band together despite even differences will be trumped by their significiance of banding together. The regional threats greatly far outweigh anything else that is locally. There is even a great potential of Af-Pak emerging into a superpower down the road and that Superpower will only come to play if China was to hesitate from moving on India but AfPak won't hesitate to re-write history as it is and they say fortune favors the bold which means China may wane as a superpower due to it's lack of moving on India when it matters most but I see in a world where Afpak makes the bold move becoming a superpower of sorts after digesting India whole in their stomach. But if China was to move on the gangus they will rightly assume the role of next superpower but I am skeptical how it will all play out or who will move first. AfPak won't mind if China was to move on the gangus river before them but it may tag along and China may do vice versa but if one of them was to sit out they will forfeit their role of rising into a major superpower.. Example if China was to sit on the sideline it will forfeit that role to Afpak who will become the major next superpower after sollowing India.

You don't need to love someone in order to have great understanding and mutual interests even with differences because it is all about interests at the end of the day.

developing FTA with them then expanding it to military to military corporations and then expanding into mutual defense treaty agreement that says if one is attacked both is attacked where fates of both states get intertwined.

playing a key role in seeing Afghanistan grow in every sector and playing a key role in seeing Afghanistan grow stronger is key and the return payment will be far greater harvest for Pakistan then it can ever imagine.

If AfPak becomes none-existence we will seal our fate and both will fail down the road hence it is not out of love but out of necessity.

Each day dozens of Pakistanis here literally want to nuke Afghanistan. Most of them belong to the recently ousted political party who is being blamed for her appeasement approach to hardliners.

So don't assume that hypocrisy is a forgotten art in these woods.

I don’t know when we will stop bending over backwards to any and every outsider than lays eyes in us. A Pak-af alliance sounds good on paper but it is possible only if BOTH parties want it. The Afghan rhetoric of claiming a fourth of Pakistan along with indecision/ reluctance to address Pakistan’s legitimate grievances regarding cross border terror leaves no room for any viable long term alliance. It is wishful thinking at best and plain stupidity at its worst.

Inferior Pakistanis/ Dark Skinned Pakistanis will always look at White Afghans with envy and will always be ready to bend over for them. Doesn't matter how many Pakistanis are killed by Afghans we will always find one reason to not stop bending over for them.

Sorry Dal Khor Gul Khans, you stand no chance against 7 feet Aryan race, blue-eyed, Blonde Afghans.

TTP are still fighting and NATO have left. OP is delusional.

Afghanistan needs to be balkanized along with India for there to be everlasting peace in the region.

Lmao. I hate to point this out but it is clear as day-light mann you wish nothing good on Pakistan and would rather see it die before even anyone else and you have the audacity to say things on behalf of it. TTP is an irrelevant group and has nothing to do with the regime over the otherside who sincerely wants them gone as well.

TTP doesn't benefit anyone in Kabul but an ever present annoyance to them and they have said time and again.. If they had intention to take anything they would have made it clear and they aren't the type to hide feelings or intentions. They aren't intimidated by anyone on planet whatsoever. But the truth it just doesn't align with their long term interests. They gain more benefits from a strong Pak in the LOC region rather then the other way around

Afghanistan is a failed landlocked and mostly barren country with no future, a population ticking time bomb due to uncontrolled population growth. Add the increasing drought, the few rivers drying up etc. and you have a future nightmare scenario.

Add the tribalism, ethnic strive, fake arbitrary borders etc., 50 years of constant wars and conflicts, Taliban, terrorism, illiteracy etc. and you do the match.

This is not Madagasacar.. Afghanistan has historical value and the graveyard of Empires. It is bound to rise like pheonix just within 2-3 decades.. Afghanistan is a place where great empires have risen from it is not a back-water like Madagasacar. If anyone knows how to rise it is none other then them.. Because they have the pedigree..

You gathered all the negativity and thru their way hoping for something to stick but guess what that ain't happening.... Guess what!!!!!

this is AFGHANISTAN!!

It is not a graveyard of Empires, but a literal GRAVEYARD it self. lol

Do the Taliban want a alliance with Pakistan should be the question? If yes we could build mountain airbases and missile bases in Afghanistan.

I am a Pakistani you troll. The flags are just banter.

Afghanistan was conquered numerous times by Arabs, Iranians, Greeks, Turks, Mongols etc. Afghanistan is a fairly new creation as well. Less than 300 years old.

The Afghans never created any empires or kingdoms of note either for them to be some historical military power. Even the Sikhs invaded and ruled them not long ago.

They have an overly inflated ego with little to show for it.

What is the banter? You aren't Pakistani fuk off Madgasacar boy or rather Indi boy

Since it's creation nobody has defeated them that is a fact... The British, Soviet and Nato

What choice do they really have.. Their longivity is tight to a strong Pakistan that guards of the LOC as bordering India would be detrimental for them hence a strong alliance with Pakistan is the only option viable..
