Featured Pakistan Navy prevented Indian Submarine from entering into Pakistani waters on 16th October

What type of Sub was it? Scorpene?

You do not know if it was carrying any nukes or not. People will know it but Pakistan could remain silent and India would have declared it as an accident.
Who care of it was carring nuks. They could not had enough time to fire. Water pressure is enough to destroy the sub even with small hol.

Sinking a multi billion dollar submarine in international waters is an act of war. It's not comparable to shooting down Abhi bhabi in his flying trash can coffin over AJK, or blowing up panjeet's bunker with an ATGM at the LoC.

I guessed it was scorpene. French had leaked / released sensitive data about Indian Scorpenes publicly. Hence Indian scorpenes were always sitting ducks.
You had to protect your egos by blaming the french and not perhaps cite a mistake by the sub commander .. typical Indian.
It would be far to expect you to ever admit barring mortal threat to you that it could be just good ASW by the PN.

But taking it out in Pakistan's waters would have been fine.

Who knows where it was...you can not detect the dead sub.who care if it was act of war.Sending its sub It was hostile act against a nuclear country

Of course PN's AWS played a major role but Scorpenes signature data has already been compromised. So it is easy to spot and take them out. They are no longer worthy of keeping in Indian Navy.

Pakistan uses Towed Array sonars to collect those acoustic data, and don't need French help in this.
The leaked "signature data" didn't play any role.
India keeps sending those submarines because these are the quietest in the Indian navy.

I would say an uncompromised Indo-Russian Kilo is better than a compromised Indo-French Scorpene.

its the Kilo class which was caught. check old and new footage ...this is not the same snorkel..its definitely Kilo class that is why it was shared as breaking news...by ISPR.

the Kilo class have some insane reputation they are called black hole by USN in Atlantic and just imagine catching it in warm water which itself not a good place for sonar,

BIG ACHIEVEMENT - HENCE BREAKING NEWS!!

Pakistan should do same? They will destroy us on detection and they will not regret. This is how you treat your enemies. This is the same India whose surface vessels destroyed Karachi port. Countries show weakness because either they are too defensive or coward. In our case, It's too defensive. This is totally unacceptable. First we compromised over Kashmir issue. Now compromising our national security. No navy in the world left enemy submarine unharmed. We left them unharmed 3 times. These same submarines might destroy our frigates in future because what they see is opportunity. Give chance to enemy and get ready to Die.

i am thinking then these subs be in international waters when detected..

It was about 180 km from nearest Pakistani coast and equidistant from Karachi and Dwarka In India.
Yes it was not in Pakistani territorial waters and had the right of passage.
But looking at the ranges of missiles carried by those submarines, it was too close for comfort and had to be Pinged to make them aware that "we know you are here ".
Also to monitor its movement.
Very prudent and professional steps taken by Pakistani navy.
