Friends who are standing with India during Covid crisis: Israel France Russia We must not forget that: 1. USA under President Biden has refused to provide vaccine raw material to India 2. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Europe 'allowed' India to become a pharma hub

Singapore, Australia, Japan have also come forward to stand with India during Covid crisis.

See what they do, not what they say.
Still remember that US claims that they will offer $100 million to China to fight for coronavirus last year.
But untill now, not a single dollar offered:woot: although we don't need that money and suggest US to donate to other developing countries who need it.
Oral promise is allways easy to make.

Britain sending ventilators, oxygen to India

Britain said Sunday it was sending life-saving medical equipment to India, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators, as the south Asian country reels from record numbers of daily Covid-19 infections and deaths.
London will ship more than 600 pieces of equipment to New Delhi to support its fight against the virus, following a request from India and Prime Minister Boris Johnson pledging the UK would do "all it can" to help.

We stand side by side with India as a friend and partner during what is a deeply concerning time in the fight against Covid-19," Johnson said in a statement.

"Vital medical equipment, including hundreds of oxygen concentrators and ventilators, is now on its way from the UK to India to support efforts to prevent the tragic loss of life from this terrible virus.

"We will continue to work closely with the Indian government during this difficult time and I'm determined to make sure that the UK does everything it can to support the international community in the global fight against pandemic."

Until the crisis broke, Johnson had been due to travel to the country Sunday. But the three day visit has been postponed.

Britain's Foreign Office, which is funding the aid, said the first shipment would leave the country Sunday, arriving in New Delhi in the early hours of Tuesday, with further shipments following later in the week.

In total, nine airline container-loads of supplies, including 495 oxygen concentrators, 120 non-invasive ventilators and 20 manual ventilators, will be sent to the country, said the ministry.

"The UK is working closely with the Government of India to identify further assistance it can provide in the coming days," it added.

Both EU and Germany today have confirmed that they're reversing their policies. Only Biden is acting like a d**k.

No shortage of RMs for Covishield.. and as expected, Modi government is wrongly blaming the US for its own mismanagement.

I have a question primarily for Indians on this forum.

Except for IAF ferrying Oxygen, why the Indian military has not been mobilized to help handle the epidemic.

Every country in the world including the US and Europe does that in cases of emergencies. I am sure they have the ability to quickly establish trauma centers, provide transportation etc. is the military scared of its troops getting infected?

All military hospitals have been instructed to take in civilian patients which they've been doing and operating at max capacity. The biggest issue currently is transportation and logistics. For instance, most of the oxygen production facilities are in the South and they're having a hard time quickly getting em to population centers like UP, Delhi. IA has also been mobilized but when there is not enough production to meet the sudden spike in demand...what good would it be by deploying a ton of troops!! Not to mention the risk of having troops infected since the current strains are deadly and vaccines doesn't seem to be effective

Army opens a FREE 1000-bedded Covid Care Hospital in Delhi for Everyone. Army provides its rakes and tankers to make oxygen express train, assists in oxygen supply management

GoI needs to impose an immediate lockdown irrespective of the economy. The current rules only include a night curfew post 9pm which really isn't effective since people hardly come out after 9.
