Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi HI(M) SBt has assumed Command of Pakistan Navy as 22nd Chief of the Naval Staff. The change of Command was formally held in an impressive ceremony today at PNS ZAFAR Islamabad, in which Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi NI(M), upon completion of his tenure of Service, handed over the reins of Command to Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.

In his farewell address to officers and men of Pakistan Navy, the outgoing Naval Chief, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, thanked Allah SWT for enabling him to discharge his duties to the best of his abilities with honesty, justice and dignity. The Admiral underscored that he kept his primary focus on transforming Pakistan Navy into a combat ready force with special emphasis on optimum battle preparedness and professional competence. He praised the untiring efforts of the finest officers and men of Pakistan Navy who worked as a team to achieve the progress made in all domains in line with his vision. Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi while highlighting the volatile geo-political landscape and heightened tensions in the preceding years made particular mention of the conflict situation post-Pulwama incident. He remarked that Pakistan’s civil military unified stance and diplomatic-military push back, frustrated Indian designs. Pakistan Armed Forces gave a befitting response and won the battle of hearts and minds, shattering the myth of India’s false sense of superiority. He applauded the professionalism displayed by PN in detecting the intruding Indian Navy submarine in Pakistani waters.

This script of speech should have been for his inhouse addresses to Officers and troops of PN. Here he should have been general in his address.

  • Contract for long range, high endurance UCAV with SATCOM capability has been signed
  • Local development of ship-based long range anti-ship and land attack P-282 ballistic missile 'in the hypersonic domain'

which vehicle in particular it can be?
and
this long range hypersonic ballistic missile under development for Milgem and 54P?

Deal for six heavier tonnage surface vessels?? Is he in any way talking about 052Ds ? If he is then RIP IN....... also he said 4 MILGEM and 1 Jinnah class under construction... so is MILGEM and Jinnah a separate project? Or maybe OP listed them separately by mistake
Jinnah is a further development of Milgem with indigenous input

its not that enemy doesn’t know that

One, never present your capabilities / plans in a plate to your enemy assuming that he knows that. Let him make some effort and spend resources to learn that. Two, divulgence of information by such a senior officer is a stamped / authenticated intelligence.

He said
in hypersonic domain P-282 plus a ship based anti ship and land attack ballistic missile is under development

This shud b completed soon. That makes heavy surface navies nearly obsolete. There is no answer to anti ship ballistic missiles

We are being unfair to the exCNC, all these acquisitions are public knowledge and not in the realm of secrecy.
Now had he been disclosing the specs of the equipment being inducted than we had an issue.

There have been reports of UCAV contracts with Turkey as well as an indigenous PN-focused program at NRDI.
The ballistic missile is probably being developed as part of a NESCOM-led venture just like Harbah, Zarb and other missiles. The Ada-class, Type 054A/Ps and the Jinnah-class will probably have custom equipment for deploying the P-282 ballistic missile.
