SAAB-2000 Erieye delivery flight to PAF at ATHENS - 27/05/2020

We were told the last left Erieye is prepared too and is back in service. Unless those news spreaders were lying, we learned that all damaged AWACS were restored.
If that is true than the mystery of the 11th aircraft that I thought was a new transport aircraft but never reported is solved.

That means 13 AWACS in total in Pakistan ???
Read my post 101.
If my calculations are correct as per the news paper articles then with the latest aircraft it is 12.

Alright folks, I've been reading a few things about PAF having 7 Erieye's after this addition. It's not true. Here is the breakdown.

PAF's Ereieye fleet

3 Survived from 2006 Order

2 of 3 Acquired from 2017 order. The remaining one is a passenger version. It is still flying without the radar set.

2 more joining this year (including this one)

This information is verified. I was at Chakala today (Evidence at PAF News thread :D)

What is the total number? You are saying news about 7 Erieye is not true, yet your breakdown makes 3+2+2 = 7 + 1 passenger version. Which part of your statement is incorrect?

7th is yet to be received. This is the 6th one.

Hence none of my statements are incorrect.

11 or 12? but we have now a very good number of Saab aircrafts

there is no proof that 049 back in service it was written off from service even i can see today sir . an someone show me a single image video any proof that 049 back in service or even its repaired ?

the reason for Erieye order is simple

after 2012 attack we formed a rebuild and overhaul department at Kamra which can repair and rebuild the Erieyes for a very low cost, Saab even said the 2 damaged Erieyes cant be repaired

it goes without question that we would buy more since we have the infrastructure in place
Now the important question to ask is whether these were built at Kamra and then went to Linkoping for certification or built in Sweden and transported back. That to me would be the icing on the cake.
