Pakistan’s PL-15 Missile Equipped JF-17 Block 3 is a Serious Game Changer - How India Can Respond to

JF-17 BLK1/2/3 doesn't have any impact on strategic or tactical balance of Air Force superiority India enjoys.

Indian Air Force is retiring a Mig-21 and inducting either a Su-30MKI or Tejas Mk1 or a Rafale in replacement... every single of these fighters are multitude more capable than a Mig-21 so even if there is no one on one replacements still this makes IAF much more capable.
India can source weapon systems from both West and Russia also Indian military industries are becoming more and more capable with passing time.

Against PL-15

India is/will deploy following options with similar or greater capabilities:

Meteor
R-27
Astra Mk2
Astra SFDR

All these missile are around 150 or more in range.

Include Air Defense systems like

Barak-8
S-400

I don't think PL-15 deployed on a light fighter gives Paf any advantage over India even after that Paf is still dependent of few dozens of F-16 BLK50/52s for putting any kind of challenge..
All you guys have for now is meteor astra is not going to be ready for a long time. We have heard that before Tejas MK 2 Astra MK 2 yet we didn't even see a working prototype and you bragging it can counter PL 15 lol what makes you think India can make a PL 15 missile counter in a year and Indians don't have much experience in developing air to air missiles except Astra . You need to get out of this thinking or you'll get a butt whooping soon. HAL will make vedic missiles which will have Chinese running for their lives both Astra and tejas MK 2 will not be ready by 2050 and MK 1A is far yet Indians bragging about it too by the Time Indians induct it it'll be too old.

You do know right Astra MK1 is in initial production and will go to mass production soon the test rate of Astra MK1 is excellent and matches parameters of modern US and Russian missiles going from 100 km range which Astra MK1 has right now to 150km is not that big of jump once you have mastered a long range AAM ... fitting duel pulses and introducing better aerodynamic design is a matter of at most an year if funding is not an issue with couple of years of testing and regression of design the Astra MK2 will be deployed in at most 3 years when in Aakash missiles you are already doing it.

Also India has already started Testing Ramjet for Astra SFDR and India has already around 90% of matured tech in missile tech. And is member of MTCR ... SAM and AAMs India is way ahead except few nations like

US
Euro
Russia
China
Japan

Astra MK1 matches the Aim-120C5 profile and MK2 is definitely with match C7 profiles but Paf will be stuck with C5 not sure US will ever send C7 to Paf ... PL-15 on a Jf-17 is not something which gives Paf any advantage for now

You need to understand that Chinese were having all infrastructure to develop jf17 fighter because they were having years of experience and was working on more advanced fighters (j 10) etc..

Wherein, India was not having any experience to make 4th generation fighter planes. So, it took more time to developed HAL Tejas and now since it is already inducted.

It is easy to develop new and upgraded aircraft's within a few years because now we already have infrastructure and experience.

HAL Tejas Mk1a will be available before 2025 and Hal Tejas Mark 2 before 2027.

Same goes to Astra missiles, after years of hard working. It is inducted now and only need to increase the range and it will be done before 2025

But it's almost May in 2020 and affected by coronavirus. It will be 2021 soon, then what will happen to them?

Offcourse they will make a bollywood movie about it.

Also according to Indian sources, Su-30MKI has no comparison. Its a far superior jet than all the jets PAF has. Ever after Feb 27th 2019 with plenty of evidence Su30 being shot down, their superiority complex and denial has no limits.

Actually they have lost all faith in su30mki now and look towards rafale to save them. They have now declated rafale to be the best, out of this world technology that is even better than F22 raptors.

Don't forget that tejas was backed by Israel US and Russia the engine is American the radar is Israeli and avionics and weapons from Russia and Israel then why call it indigenous and despite all this support how the hell did a light aircraft like tejas take so much time to develop. Something doesn't add up also MK 1A will take at least 5 years to be inducted or even more because you dont even have a prototype yet and after making all the MK 1 will require time too. Its not that simple avionics radar and weapons integration on MK 1 A will take too much time and by the time India makes the first prototype we will have around 50 block 3s and more on order who knows PAF might go for Block 4 then still it'll be one step ahead of MK 1A. Tejas Mk 2 is at least a decade away and in conceptual design stages still Indians are bragging about something that doesn't exist and who knows if MBDA gives meteor for an Indian fighter since it is only meant for European countries.

Tejas MK 2 is still an aircraft on paper. I don't think HAL can develop MK 1A and then deliver all 83 MK 1 in just 5 years and also make MK 2 unless some vedic technological leap happens and india can manufacture like Boeing. Being realistic MK 2 is still one decade away

Boss, Hal has proved itself but even PAC does not prove anything till now except assembling but saying will make Azm fighter plane. No, Indians are trolling on that.
....

Coming to Hal Tejas Mk1a.. It will be very easy to develop for HAL... It's just kind of up gradation to already exist platform. Maximum 2 years but safer purpose I m saying max to max 2025.

I m not saying all 83 aircraft will be delivered before 2025.. It will be around 2027-28

HAL Tejas mark 2 will also not take much time. 1st prototype will be ready between 2023.. Induction from 2027.

Let's not start the dick measuring game. I didn't say that PAC is better than HAL I pointed out that they dont have the capacity to manufacture 83 aircraft and work on 2 programs at one time the MK 1 and MK 2. It took PAF 5 6 years or more for a reason from block 2 to block 3 despite having China on our backs what makes you think india can do it in 2 3 years . Anyways about Project Azm you Indians were saying same about JF 17 when it started that Pakistan cant make aircraft and bla bla but today we are making about 50 percent in our country it was a JOINT VENTURE not our own project so in JVs there is a contract in which some work is distributed between two parties that's why we make half and the Chinese make half of it . Anyways Azm will not be here till 2035 at least we give doable timelines while Indians just dream they can make a fighter in two years it's not a movie it's a plane dude.

CAN IT POST HOW CAN YOU ASSEMBLE YOUR OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE TEJ@$$ AND HOW MANY FOREIGN COMPONENT YOUR TEJA@$$ HAVE

and you have that reliable technology (R-77) at 27/2/2019, so what happen than:sarcastic:
Its pitted Against Raytheon Aim-120c Which has better seeker and Range
Surely R-77-1 Equal in range
150 Block IIIs with PL15s can take care of the Rafales.
100 Rafale's Are Enough For Whole PAF

Sure, Vympel makes missles, whether they make good missiles is another question. The list is about as credible as anybody going and putting together a list
How Many Missiles or BVR Chinese Actually Sold other than allies And Few African nations

Just like Su30 ... the Tejas will dodge PL15.... by staying out of range and heading home!

Another IAF DodgerPatch in the making!
DERBY IR has duel pulse Motar and Has Low RCS

Su-30 seriously

Actually they have lost all faith in su30mki now and look towards rafale to save them.
MMRCA is 2007 Program

YEAH PITTED BUT MISERABLY FAILED, WHAT HAPPENED WHY DIDN'T YOU FIRED SINGLE R-77 ON 27/2/2019, AND MKI DODGING AMRAAM WITH IT:lol::rofl::enjoy:
older R-77 has Range Of 80 km Aim-120C 105km

Because We didn't Get Firing solutions Before F-16

Altitude is big factor

It can be corrected by Just Adding New R-77 variant R-77-1 Which has 110 km range

F-16 Fired From 70 km Getting a Single hit
(what ever Theory is )

100 Rafale's Are Enough For Whole PAF
YOU'RE NOT GETTING MORE RAFALE THAN 36 RAFALE CAN YOU PROVES WITH LINKS/SOURCES THE YOU'RE GETTING MORE RAFALE AFTER INITIAL ORDER OF 36 RAFALE

OK AND WHY YOU ARE NOT TRY TO TARGET OUR STRIKE PACKAGE (JF-17/MIRAGES) THESE WERE IN THE LOCK ZONE OF R-77???:p:;):enjoy:
