Lt Gen (r) Kidwai warns India not to take Pakistan's nuclear capability as a 'bluff'

The nuclear deterrence ship sailed on 26 Feb. There is no going back.
It's a bluff until it isn't anymore. There are many steps of escalation before nukes are considered, Pakistan is not gona go for them straight away. The fact India decided not to escalate further is quite telling.

Also, we should all be scared of a full scale war between the two countries, although you are bigger and with more resources, there may be no coming back from a full blown war for either country if it does happen.

Full blown war is not going to happen. India not going to lose its economical gains. And pak’s economy is in no position to wage war.

Scirmishes might still happen.

With humans, you never really know. Human stupidity is infinite, and since we are not all knowing gods, miscalculations do happen.

Also if India wants to defeat Pakistan, isn't now the best chance since as you say Pakistan is in no position to wage war? All the more reason why "bluff" may have worked since India blinked after facing humiliation against a much weaker opponent.

:dirol: No really, that deterrence ship has sailed. After Aug5 your nukes are more like paper weights. To be honest real paper weights have some practical use, your nukes not so much anymore.

Nuclear deterrence is for defence of Pakistan and has nothing to do with Article 375. Pakistan's position on IOK has NOT changed. Good luck with Modi Govt blunders, you don't needs external enemies anymore.

Yes. That is the point, which Gangus are not ready to acknowledge.:p:

Your assumption is not correct. What quite telling actually is Pak’s inability to counter India’s brazen annexation of Kashmir on Aug5.

With kinetic action conducted by India on 26th Feb has altered Pak’s behaviour in Kashmir permanently.

BLUFF was quite adequate to put the tail of Bharat Mata, comfortably, between the hind legs.

Pak’s position on IOK is not relevant anymore. Probably it never was.

India is not going to attack with intentions to acquire territory currently held by Pak irrespective of nukes.

Modi is an internal issue of India. No Indian gives any importance to IK or his policies.

Your kinetic action was repaid very next day in front of whole world. As for Article 375 is concerned it was always a farce piece of paper for pro Indian puppets. Glad it's taken back as it never served any purpose other than fooling masses. Don't get into early celebrations yet as you still can't visit Kashmir. Can you??

India doesn’t wants to defeat Pak. It just wants Pak to stop creating issues in IOK.

Are you sure India did not achieve its political aims by its kinetic action on Feb26? If we believe events after 27Feb India threatened missile strike. If that is not further calling the bluff what is? Pak gave Abhi back in a hurry. This is not the same India which quietly accepted the murder of pilot during Kargil.

As i said keep estimating , there is nothing bad about having wet dreams. You just need to enjoy! Lolx.

Must share your experiences with us that our nuclear weapons are paper waste or impractical once it performs a mass kriyakaram on your land. And of course if you live to tell the tale and your ashes have not blown to some far corner of the world.

Untrue, Pakistan is not creating any issues. India is, and it must really start to look inwards and stop pointing fingers.

India in action:

Sending spies such as KY in Pakistan for spreading terrorism is also how India works.

Stop pretending to be innocent when you are the trouble maker.

Accept that many people in IOK don't want India, and give them their due rights.

Not really. If that were the case, then 7x smaller Pakistan would not have been able to shoot down indian fighter jet(s), leaving 7x bigger india too weak, powerless and incapable of doing anything about it........:azn:........The reality is that, Pakistan's growing, advancing and burgeoning nuclear weapons program has left 7x bigger india who is backed by the West and Russia too weak, powerless, incapable and too impotent to take on the Pakistani military.............:azn:.......Truth is, ALL indians can now do is talk and bark against Pakistan, like dogs..............Nothing more........
