I wonder if 500m is enough? If it miss there is no time to launch another one.
And what you think RPG effective range is?It is no more than 200-400m...In many situations in war you simple can't use havy ATGMs that require trained crue..mostly two men crue thus ATGMs are not that portable as may look at first(you can't run with ATGM on your shoulders...missile is loaded only upon been fired) ...that is why RPGs are very usefull and at most frontlines fire range is at 100-200m anyway and you just have to fire very fast and run..you need something which soldiers can carry while on foot and RPGs are great weapon you can distributed to infantry units and soldiers can carry it while still use rifle as primary weapons..and you would surprise how good and usefull RPGs are even against havy MBTs..and when it comes to precision, trust me--at that range hit probability is very high even for moving targets..MBTs don't move that fast on the battlefield and in many situation don't move at all..it depend what terrain is ....are MBTs in offensive or in defensive formation..bottom point is you need different type of wepons

Unguided rocket to attack moving target 500m away , then I'm sure there will be far more miss than hit.

The maximum range for regular Soviet RPG-7 with PG-7V grenade is also 500 meters. But it's clear that at such a distance they are rarely used :)

this RPG will be used to destroy human targets. one day in Syria, because we did not had this type of RPG , we gave 6 martyrs because we could not shoot a sniper that was behind a concrete wall.

You hit anything farther than 70-100m with an RPG and you get a reward from me.

Again you can't hit anything with this RPG at 500m. At that range you need a guided missile . at most you can use it at the range of around 100m an RPG have effective range of 200m but honestly a real expert can fire it at that range and expect to hit the target .

And by the way while he targeting the sniper he is wide open to the sniper, fat chance that sniper allow you to target him with this weapon.

This is for shelters more than tank. You can see how far back the secondefy explosion goes off. Also, the explosion looks like fuel air type.

I don't need reward from you but unlike many I actually speak from first hand expirance....so not need to guess anything .....we scored hits with OSA up to 300m regulary againest T-34,T-55 and even M-84 without problems and it is also ungaided ..has scope but so RPGs these days...You would surprise what practice make from a soldier...I saw with my own eyes how mortar crew deliver mine from first try to one meter wide trenches with 82mm mortar..no fire corection...nothing

And I saw first hand how the soldiers could not hit a stationary 2x2 m rock which was not at the same level of them from even less than 70m . the situation was so comical that the commander had to punish them for that performance . but the way he was so angry for the rockets that hit soft area around the target and didn't detonate and they had to somehow detonate them later .

this guy is shooting with an AK from 420 Yard (~ 390m) without sight
you dont think a soldier with enough practice can hit from larger distances?
I know an AK is not and RPG, but dont underestimate possibilities...

Allegedly 300m shot
