Pakistan Navy test fires new Harba cruise missile from PNS Himmat Pakistan

Point to be noted. The launch is literally sea hugging. When fired over the horizon, the flash and smoke trail would not be evident to surface warships. Of course, aerial and space assets could detect it, but the FAC is not going to stay in the same place after firing. This means bad news for Indian ships in littoral waters.

On the other hand, given such a depressed initial trajectory, what would be the impact of rough weather and high sea?

True, but not all seekers are present on a single type of system. Thats why you see a number of variants of the baseline.

Should be the same as Babur-2.

Of course. Didn't get your point?

when you say Infrared seekers, Is it a full fledge IIR ?

Would be interesting to see what counter measures or trajectories Harba adopts to circumnavigate Barak-8. Do keep in mind it is still sub sonic and India has tested Barak-8 against Brahmos Supersonic missiles.

I'm afraid I don't have enough knowledge to comment on that with confidence. Maybe there's a leveling system in the canister platform, or maybe the firing computer does some tricks to counter the movement of ship.

I didn't say infrared seeker :P

can it armed with tactical nukes to annihilate other navies

I cant see any FB video on this forum so plz just give link of teh page video link mate post karna bhaioooo srif FB page address
Bhai this forum is playing some trick. I have posted it like hypertext link but it converted into video, I posted it as a quote and again it converted into the video , okay now I try this... it may work..just make the required changes

Speed isn't everything. As a matter of fact, high speed can be the undoing of a weapon system. Radar evasion is a science and an art. Mission planning and Intel will be as important as stealth profile, sea hugging trajectory, and other measures. We need a good command and control system around it.

If Pakistan possess Aegis, then yes. But unfortunately PN doesnot have any countermeasures against Brahmos, despite early detection, they cant do anything much against supersonic threat.

Radar evasion and Infrared seeker evasion both. As you said, we need good C&C along with Satellite or aerial surveillance to detect and decide an optimal path to attack the ship

You are being mysterious now without any explanation :P

forgot to quote you as well. Infrared seekers as in sensors or a IIR module?
