Issue is that almost every new naat from these people is based on some Bollywood song. There is a commercial element to all this. People know Bollywood tunes and to change thier words to make a naat - it will sell. It's a biddat (negative type). In my mind the only motivation is money. Half of the twats listening are remembering the video of the Bollywood track.

These types of disco molvi are a disgrace and in contradiction of the teachings of Ahmed Raza Khan. Too many people criticise barelvis because of the actions of deviants amongst us. The actual teachings are mainstream hanafi teachings. It is our failing that we do not challenge these types and the fake pirs etc more fervently.

It is the duty of regular scholars to challenge this type of bullshit. We have young up and coming scholars in the UK who are "barelvi" who are not afraid to challenge this. There are many senior ulema who are also dead against this. Unfortunately the disco Molvis get all the media coverage.

If any of you want to follow the posts of mainstream sunni scholars who post on Facebook I suggest you look up Asrar Rashid and Shiekh Muhammad Aslam.
