It participated in a joint maritime anti-terror drill of North Pacific coast guards off the southeastern port city of Busan, South Korea.

After China Coast Guard's commissioning of 10,000 tons class ship （2901 and 3901， commissioned few years back) , China MSA will build a new class of 10,000 tons class ship of their own. This ship will have a length of 165m, 20.6m width and draft of 9.5m, to be built by Huangpu (HP) Wenchon shipyard.
