The Philippine Navy’s BRP Jose Rizal (Guided Missile Frigate - FF 150) conducted a passing exercise and other naval drills with Pakistan Navy’s PNS Tughril (FFG-261) near Matinloc Platform in El Nido, Palawan on Nov. 26.
BRP Jose Rizal (FF-150) is the lead ship of her class of guided missile frigates of the Philippine Navy.While, PNS Tughril is a guided missile frigate recently commissioned by Pakistan Navy.

Pakistan Navy Ship ALAMGIR visits Dakar, Senegal and established free Medical Camp as good will gesture. Upon arrival, Pakistan Navy Ship was received by the officials from Ministry of Health of Senegal, Naval Officials and Defence Attache of Pakistan.

During the port visit, Mission Commander along with Commanding Officer of PNS ALAMGIR called on Minister of Defence of Senegal, Chief of Naval Staff of Senegal Navy and Chief of Air Staff of Senegal. During the interactions, matters of mutual interests were discussed and enhancement of bilateral ties in all spheres was re-affirmed. Taking the opportunity, Mission Commander conveyed good wishes of Chief of the Naval Staff for the people of Senegal in general and the Senegal Navy in particular.

As a goodwill gesture and to extend humanitarian assistance, free Medical Camp was established in city of Dakar by Pakistan Navy. A specialized team of Pakistan Navy doctors and paramedics provided medical treatment and medicines to over 2000 patients.

The implementation of COVID-19 SOPs was ensured during the Medical Camp. Establishment of free Medical Camp by Pakistan Navy was widely appreciated by the local populace.

Upon completion of port visit, PNS ALAMGIR conducted bilateral passage exercise with Senegal Navy Ship to enhance interoperability between the two navies.

The ongoing deployment is aimed at fostering friendly ties with African Countries, enhancing naval collaboration, extending humanitarian assistance and developing interoperability with the host Navy. The visit of PNS ALAMGIR to Senegal provided an opportunity for both countries to further enhance the existing close diplomatic ties and cordial relations.
 
LUMUT NAVAL BASE, MALACCA STRAIT

The lead ship of the Pakistan Navy’s Tughril class of guided missiles and air defence frigates, PNS Tughril arrived at a Malaysia’s naval base Lumut for a port call.
The two navies will conduct the MALPAK/3-2021 bilateral naval exercises.

Pakistan Navy Ship TUGHRIL visited Naval Base Lumut, Malaysia as part of good will visit and flag showing mission.
Upon arrival at port, Pakistan Navy Ship TUGHRIL was received by Defence Attaché of Pakistan at Kuala Lumpur and senior officials from Royal Malaysian Navy.

The visit of PNS TUGHRIL included harbour and sea phases. In harbour phase table top discussions on professional matters and bilateral interactions were held. Whereas, sea phase included conduct of bilateral exercise MALPAK in which PNS TUGHRIL along with three Ships and a Helicopter participated from Royal Malaysian Navy.

Visit of Pakistan Navy Ship to Malaysia provided an opportunity for both countries to further enhance the existing close diplomatic ties and cordial relations.

PNS Tughril, the first frigate of Tughril Class (Type-054A/P) will reach Pakistan in December 2021.
Currently Tughril is in Sri Lanka ..

Pakistan Navy Ship ALAMGIR visited Tema, Ghana and established free Medical Camp as goodwill gesture from people of Pakistan. Upon arrival at Tema port, the Ship was received by Defence Attaché of Pakistan at Ghana and senior officials from Ghana Navy.

Pakistan Navy and Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) participated in bilateral naval Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2021 (TAT-21) in North Arabian Sea.



The Naval exercise included participation of Surface & air units beside Naval Special Operations Forces from both navies.

The Omani Navy Task Group comprised of RNO ships AL DHAFERAH and AL SEEB. Whereas Maritime Patrol Aircraft of Royal Air Force of Oman also participated in the exercise.

During Harbour Phase of the exercise, operational and tactical level discussions and Pre Exercise Conferences were conducted. Commanding officers of visiting RNO ships called on Commander Pakistan Fleet and Commander Coast; wherein, matters of mutual interests were discussed and enhancement of bilateral ties in all spheres was re-affirmed. The Commanding Officers of visiting RNO ships also extended gratitude for the whole-hearted support provided by Pakistan Navy for conduct of Exercise THAMAR AL TAYYIB 2021.


Sea phase of the exercise comprised counter terrorism, Anti-Air and Anti-Surface Warfare Operations with an overall aim to curb illicit activities at sea.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also visited RNO ships and interacted with officers and men onboard.

Exercise TAT-21 provided an avenue of mutual learning and inter-operability and opportunity for both navies to further hone their professional skills. Exercises between the two Navies are regularly being conducted since 1990. Last exercise of the TAT series was conducted in Omani waters in 2019.

Regular conduct of bilateral Naval exercise between Pakistan Navy and Royal Navy of Oman are indicative of long standing brotherly relations between two countries in general and both navies in particular.

Upon arrival at port, PNS ALAMGIR was escorted by ships of Nigerian Navy and received by High Commissioner of Pakistan at Nigeria, Defence Attaché of Pakistan and senior officials from Nigerian Navy.
