3 Pakistan Navy personnel martyred in Gwadar helicopter crash

The chance of a successful landing in tail rotor failure are extremely low until u are just a few feet above the ground and hopefully fuel does not catches fire after crash.

And if the tail snaps due to extreme forces since tail rotor failed, then heli goes down the way u saw in the video. Zero survival at such height.
sorry for asking off topic question
but i saw in a james bond movie i think golden eye
it was tiger helicopter which was stolen
it had ejection seat which saved bond and the girl
which showed the whole cabin breaking free from the body

Attrition is high because we buy second hand junk whist generals take billions abroad to find their lavish Lifestyles
only in bajwa wife's account, she has millions of dollar (12arab rupees). just imagine how much they have looted and deposited in foreign countries. could have bought brand new Heli for poor soldiers, lost life for these arseholes generals.

Navy Sea King, rotor malfunction leading to tail snapping and heli crashed.

Seems pilot did his best to save the aircraft after the initial problem.

Very sad news, may the shaheed rest in peace.

Very surprised there is a video here.

I imagine the maintenance unit with this squadron would be under extreme scrutiny and all the records are being combed through. No idea how the Navy does NDT testing for fatigue, in house or to Kamra?

Seen many videos of crashes similar to this where the pilots walk away, a game of fine margins. Such is the nature of the world.

Well as long as the Generals are living in DHA and with green cards... Who cares about the slave DALIT pak soldiers...

There are some helos with that capabilities, one is the ka52 alligator. The way they work is by first pushing out the rotors from the rotor hub with high explosive charges and then the canopy/cabin is pushed out the same way and ejector seats then come into action much like in a fighter jet. But not all helos have this capabilities.

Stop making lavish cantonments, residential colonies, and commercial ventures. Follow the Turkish example, where all three forces foundations invested in armaments, heavy engineering, technology, and ship building industries instead of cement, fertilizers, sugar, dairy, banking, insurance etc.

How are they martyrs?

They didn’t die fighting it was just a helicopter crash.
They could have died while training. The training towards honing one’s skill for war, is also a martyrdom. Not similar to the one achieved during war though. That’s why death in war wins them medals to acknowledge the sacrifices.

A soldier could die in a road accident or avalanche while on duty. He wouldn’t have been taking these risks, if not for his job.

Soldiers deserve respect and salute when they die - peace or war shouldn’t count.

Imagine, if instead of FFC, FFBL, Fauji Foods, Cement, DHA, Askari bank, and much more, we had Askari aerospace technologies, Askari missile systems, Askari software house, and other organizations along the same lines.

Alas.

One can understand your mental state of mind. Any technically trained personal who puts his life at risk to perform his task in efficient manner is considered martyr. You think these helicopter pilots don't put their lives in danger from the heights of over 7000 meters in Noth till the ports of Gawadar and Karachi ? Of course not.....one can understand your mental state of mind. !!!
