  • Hello, I am also a British Pakistani. I was born in the UK just like you and go Pakistan on a yearly basis for a couple of months. I am considering to join Pak army after my university studies which should be completed in 3 years inshAllah. Have you applied as well by any chance.     Your grandfather should be able to guide you. As an overseas Pakistani you will be exempt from the first test however you will have to take an interview with a defence attache. The process is very simple and hassle free. I would suggest taking interview practice beforehand as some of the questions the army asks are off-putting.

    So you won't need to attend ISSB, you just go to the next PMA if they accept you?

    @The Sandman beautiful place for sure, Shalimar Gardens used to be great around about 2007 however it's cleanlyness has decreased a little. It's still a beautiful place and a location I visit every time I go Pakistan.
    I'm from Johar Town and , most of my family resisted in those locations.
