The government has decided to expel more than 800,000 persons from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).

These individuals include civil servants of the federal or provincial governments and those who hold more than 12 acres of agricultural land, informed Special Assistant to Prime Minister and BISP chairperson Sania Nishtar.

Under the Benazir Income Support Program, it was decided to increase the quarterly compensation from Rs5,500 to 6,000, which was renamed as Ehsaas Program.

As per details, there are 153302 people who traveled abroad once, 195364 spouses traveled abroad, 10476 people traveled more than once, 166319 spouses have traveled abroad more than once.

The list also includes the names of 692 people who have one or more motorcycle / car registered, 43746 spouse registered / vehicle or having registered vehicle with their spouse, 24546 persons whose monthly mobile or telephone is more than Rs 1000, 115767 persons whose husband's / wife's monthly mobile or telephone bill is more than 1000, 666 persons who have paid passport executive fee, 580 persons husband / wife paid passport executive fee. Regardless of the tax, 36970 persons with one or more family members make the ID card paid by the executive fee.

Of these persons, 14,370 are civil servants / employees of Railway / Pakistan Post Office or BISP. The total number of people excluded from the BISP program is 820,165 persons. This would translate into annual savings of Rs 16 billion to the government.

The government has launched action against the government officials found benefiting from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).

As per details, show cause notices has been issued for dismissal of those government employees, found involved. Meanwhile, officers that enrolled their spouses into the program were given 10 days to respond.

Failure to respond satisfactorily will result in termination of the officers.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to bring the names of government officials benefiting from the Benazir Income Support Program public.

PM Khan said that the robbers who loot the rights of poor cannot be exempted; the names of the robbers should be brought to the people.


Over 2,500 government officials from federal and provincial governments were expelled from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).

Some 2,543 government officials from Grade-17 to Grade-21 were receiving the BISP income support tri-monthly handouts, despite the program meant for the poor segments of the society.

62 civil servants government officials from Grade-17 to Grade-21 of federal government were receiving BISP fund, whereas, 741 officials from Balochistan were found receiving handouts of the income support programme.

Whereas, Sindh topped the list with 1,122 high grade provincial government officials were exited from the list. Three government officers of Grade-21 were among the list of the beneficiaries of the social protection programme.

Just days ago, the government decided to expel 820,165 persons from the BISP out of which 14,730 were government employees.

The Government workers in Sindh , who worked got monthly salaries and also decided to steal from the Income Suppliment program for poor

Grade 17 Government offical makes 16,000 to 40,000 Rupees per month
Grade 21 Government official makes 40,000 to 75,000 Rupees per month

10 Lakh corrupt people !!! (Million folks abusing the system)

• People who had 12 acre land were using it
  
• People who had traveled on Airplane 1 time or more were using it
  
• People who ordered express Passport , with executive fee were using it
  
• Employed workers of Government , registered for it when they had a permanent salary
  
• Also people who owned cars and motor cycles registered for it while claiming to be poor

Suprisingly many Urdu news papers are not running the story and TV channels are also not openly talking about the massive scale of abuse of program

This happens when the officers who's job is to register poor people take bribery and instead register those who are well off. Even If you try to give zakat with your own hands you still have no idea if the person in need is actually poor or not as people lie. I know people in Pakistan who have lakhs in banks but still take zakat. People who stole land from the mangla dam people. It's a big scandal but nobody talks about it. Its very difficult to keep a track as everybody is on it. The police, the people in charge of the money, the public itself.

We need young educated people who are on a good salary and a effective system. The government needs to create this system.

The Provincial Government's ability to treat all regions of Province , in "equality" will be checked by Prime Minister as part of "National Economic Council" from where he can pass a recommendation if the Province can't meet expecations and new laws can be created to cancel laws made in Province

Prime Minister / President have capacity to review Sindh's performance and efficiency are they able to resolve issues of Citizens


If Law is passed by Federal Government in Parliment it is followed 100% and any Provincial Law is cancelled which contradicts or conflicts it



Federal Government can

• Cancel any Province Law
• Bring a brand new Law apply it by Force
• Call Emergency in Province
  
• Cancel any appointment by bringing a new Law at Federal Level

If Province is failing Emergency can be declared

Provided further that if the President acts on his own, the Proclamation of Emergency shall be placed before both Houses of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) for approval by each House within ten days. ]

Theres no specified metric for which a government is "failing", meaning that any action against a provincial government will always be treated as an act of tyranny that all the opposition will rally around. Yes we all hate PPP, but in Sindh and Karachi millions see Bhutto as a god and will cause all kinds of chaos if they are removed from power.

The solution to Sindh's issues isnt repealing or ammending any laws, its overhauling the entire government structure, bureaucracy, police force, political leaders, and budget. These things cant be done without a new government with a mandate from the people.

Yes there is it is "Judgement of Prime Minister" , and the body called National Economic Council , and then President of Pakistan's determination based on recommendation from Prime Minister who has power to impose Emergency in Sindh​

j) Food supplies rotting on storage , which should have been distributed to people



The rules exist it is up to Pakistani Government and Advisors to prime minister to highlight it , and working group with Military to decide an Application of Emergency in Sindh , and lock down all corrupt mafia

The interim , Authority in Sindh can then decide on future election only in Sindh Province after it is determined by Military and Government that corruption is gone
