Recently I read some news which stated :-
• “A girl tried to set herself on fire after being bullied and fat-shamed in high school”
• “A student from a reputable university committed suicide because of achieving less GPA”
• “There’s a significant rise in the usage of drugs among teenagers in recent years”
Which led me to question myself…..Where is humanity heading towards?
There’s no question of the fact that life is tough…but it’s not impossible to achieve the peace of mind. I see people all around me – being pessimistic about life.
Their parents dead worried about their precious wilting flowers.
A fast-paced lifestyle – peer pressure of achieving the most in life and the attraction of leading a luxurious life, shown in movies are some of the most common factors of leading depression and suicide among teenagers.
The author of this blog post wants to convey this message to its readers, never forget what someone said:
“You’re the light that lights up the world”
Sure…Life is a race – but it’s not a race of you with others. It’s a race of you with yourself. It’s a journey of you learning from your mistakes and contributing towards making this world a better place.
Always remember – you are special. It’s not worth ending your life over any issue. You’ll always find two types of people in your life. People who’ll be happy to see you getting squashed in life and people who’ll sincerely care for you. Learn to differentiate among the two.
Don’t overthink and focus more on hard work. Every cloud has a silver lining – every diamond is rubbed and polished before it transforms to its final magnificence. It’s okay to make mistakes in life – everyone does. But the only difference between a successful & unsuccessful person is that he learns from his mistakes. A mistake repeated twice is not a mistake – It’s a decision.
A mistake repeated twice is not a mistake – It’s a decision.
Always remember…It’s never too late for anything and that you always have a choice in life.
It’s not a shame to say sorry to someone. Rather, it’s a very noble thing to do so. Apologise to people whom you’ve hurtphysically – emotionally – verbally. Be grateful to people who stick by you through your harsh timings of ill fate.
Smile more – and boost the confidence of people around you. Some people are so downtrodden – so pushed towards the edge of destruction they’re literally on the breaking point of their end.
Sometimes all a person ever needs is someone to listen to – someone to talk to… In those moments – if you smile at them – listen to them – give them your sincere advice.
That’s all the miracle the world ever needs. A lot of our problems of society will end if we just “talk to people” instead of “talk about people”
In a world of pessimism – The author hopes to ignite a spark of positivity and hope.
May the readers of this blog post find all the love they need to feel good about themselves and to help spread positivity among people with staggering issues
As someone said “Be the change you want to see in the world”
