There was a thread few days back about plants. That they have their brain distributed in whole of their body and react accordingly and communicate with one another. It means if we go to simpler life form we find that these entities have intelligence, memory etc. distributed that work as a whole.
Keeping this principle in mind, if we go further backward i.e. to non-living things like water, stones and metal, their communication must be stronger than simple and complicated form of life. They must have memory and react in their own way that we having a centred brain don't understand. These objects are interlinked in a universal web of communication and are part of a great game.
There is a documentary shown on Natgeo titled 'Earth Machine' that shows how intelligently the core of the Earth functions and forms new rocks and seas.
On individual level if a person does anything wrong his surrounding objects keep this act in their memory and pass on to other objects. So, some other day and other place that person faces the trouble in any other form.
There is one recorded example in history that proves that water not only has memory but also intelligence. Hazrat Umer R.A. wrote letter to the river Nile to flow in the name of God instead of taking human sacrifice every year and threw this letter in the river. The river did react and till today.
