My cousin came from Pakistan last year and now he is almost done with his high school here.The problem is that he doesn't like being here.He want to go back to Pakistan so Can he go to Pakistan and get admission in any university there (On merit)? UET or Nishtar or whatever?

He has pretty good grades here...He would be taking pre-calculus next semster etc ...

yes, its quite easy for diaspora to get admission, they have reserved quota, so even if they are bad in grades they get admission in best places !!


Personally I would suggest that he should get his graduation done there, and then if feels like may return...

Well,he'll be graduated from high school in this year.In U.S.A you have high school upto 12th grade and then you have college and ithen university (You can go to university after high school but you have to be really,really smart for that)..

So how can he apply for the admission? I mean can he apply on-line or something?I know about the quota but isn't quota system = self-finance? He want to get into any school on merit ..I'll appreciate your guidance

Im not sure about the fee structure, but if you go to HEC site you will find all the necessary rules, and also the list of universities with their websites, check the relevant university and communicate with with them about the procedure, now a days admissions are almost done....

He can't apply online.He will have to go to University to perform NTS/ECAT/MCAT Test.Alternatively, I think he can also take some international test and if his scores are good that will give him benefit in admission.

I recommended him HEC site, maybe NTS/GAT test is not necessary for foreign students... it is to standardize the local education system... link to NTS NTS Home
