Yield of various crops decreases: chief minister Punjab urged to take notic

Agriculture Forum Pakistan Chairman Muhammad Ibrahim Mughal hinted at a significant decrease in per-acre yield of wheat this year which according to him may come down to 26 maund per acre, a production province has been taken some 15 years back.

Mughal was talking to media persons here on Monday after a meeting convened by the Forum on 'grow more wheat campaign'.

the genetically modified seeds are losing their effectiveness.it happens with a GM crops over a period of time..
Atomic energy commission does research on these mattere..they should come up wiyh new breeds of crops..

Frankly agriculture is not the focus of the govt. No inputs are available in markets and even u got fertilizers , pesticides and seeds u dont know whether it is original or fake
