There seem to be a new civil military rift between NS and PK army regarding Kashmir :

Also NS seem set to win a 2nd term in 2018 since he dominates your Punjab province. At least that kind of perception I get as an outsider. Don't get me wrong. Pakistanis definitely know better about their country.
Now if he win , he NO doubt would have more legitimacy and be more assertive. he looks up to Erdogan and AKP and longs for the kind of civilian dominance AKP has over turkish army. He also seem to be a very astute politician and is very cautious. With a consecutive second term and hopefully PAK economy picking up with CPEC , he and his party seem set to dominate.
Also other example shows that with successive elections , Army looses power to civilians. Eg. - Turkey , South Korea, Indoneshia, Brazil , Argentina etc etc. These countries all have complete civilian dominance over army.
SO what is the opinion of PDF pak members and general pakistani population as a whole on the possibly of PLM-N dominance over their army? How would the PAK army react? Don't get me wrong , I think both your Civilian gov and Army has PAK best interest at heart but they define that interest in different terms.
SO what would be PAK's policy in such scenario? Would there be a change in PAK kashmir policy? Would a civilian gov give up on Kashmir? As a muslim and well wisher of PAK I really hope NOT. What would general Pakistanis do if there is a change in Kashmir policy?
Discuss.
