In a story which hasn't gotten much coverage, US Congress representatives from both the Democratic and the Republican Parties have publicly called out the CIA to stop funding and arming ISIS and other terrorist organizations and introduced legislation to make sure that the US Gov't no longer supports such groups.

If the legislation passes, one hopes that ISIS in Afghanistan and Pakistan also meet its logical end and India is isolated if it continues to support them.

Dana Rohrabacher and Tulsi Gabbard have teamed up to write the legislation.

Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said on Twitter Saturday that the United States is funding and arming Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State.

NEW YORK – In an unexpected development US member of Congress Tulsi Gabbard has admitted that the American government has been involved in supporting terrorists in war-torn Syria, and has made it clear that she aims to stop them.

In a series of tweets, Gabbard has not only exposed the US policy of arming terrorists but has gone further to state what she plans to do about it.

We must prohibit taxpayer dollars from being used to provide weapons/support to al Qaeda, ISIS & other terrorist groups. Period.

— Tulsi Gabbard December 12, 2016

We must stand together and stop our gov from assisting the same terror groups we are supposedly trying to defeat.

— Tulsi Gabbard December 12, 2016

According to a press release issued by her office, Gabbard has introduced the ‘Stop Arming Terrorists Act’ on December 8.

The legislation would prohibit the U.S. government from using American taxpayer dollars to provide funding, weapons, training, and intelligence support to groups like the Levant Front, Fursan al-Ha and other allies of Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, al-Qaeda and ISIS, or to countries who are providing direct or indirect support to those same groups.
