Why they are called taliban? Background

taliban meanings is a student or knowledge seekers.

But how this name was adopted by terrorist? this question need to go in background history. All the fighting leaders of taliban groups ages are not more than 35-40.Their leaders and followers had passed out from Pakistani deobandi maderssas.During the war with Russia in Afghanistan their families had fled into Pakistan.They have no role in fighting with Russia.Gul Badein Hikmat yar, Ahmed shah Massod, Rabbani are the people who forced Russia to pull back troops from Afghanistan.
But unfortunately some powers don't want to saw these commanders to rule over Afghanistan.
After Russian withdraw Fisad had been started in Afghanistan.
Unfortunately Pakistani Authorities did get involve in this ****** game of power.
Fresh corps of fighters in madrases had been ready to get exploited in Afghanistan.
worst dictator of Pakistan had sown the seed of terrorism which now turned into big tree and we are paying including the world community.But our wounds are more deeper than else.

Do you mean pakistan had the opportunity to control afghanistan after soviet union left?

Pakistani authorities think themselves justify to control Afghanistan in return of Assistance in Afghan-Russian war.
certainly this couldn't be possible without logistic and monetary support from abroad.
Pakistan ,saudia arabia and UAE(maybe) were the only three countries that recognize the Taliban gov. in Afghanistan.

no body created Taliban
taliban was a phenomenah ariseing from the prevailing situation in Afghanistan.

They were well comed by afghans and then they came under influence of Al qaida... which helped to fill their ideological vaccum ....
it was influence of Al qaida which changed a popular movement into worst secterian and extremist movement
