Naga IAS officer builds 100-km road in Manipur without govt help .
IMPHAL: Villagers of Manipur's Tousem sub-division in Tamenglong district are a busy lot these days. At least 150 of them on a daily basis are clearing away a thicket with their machetes and daos. Some are lugging away heavy branches of recently felled trees; and others are operating bulldozers and earthmovers to give themselves the "best Christmas gift ever".
This was the news Posted in Times of India on 3rd November .
Indian People Both in India and Abroad were So moved that they started Pitching in Money . Today they have Enough money to build the Road and They are on Last 20 Kilometers to complete it .

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT ???
sometimes i wish i had better words than 'THANK YOU' !!!!!
distance cannot keep the heart of a noble man
away from his country........
no matter where he goes, his heart rejoices when
his country is doing well
and his heart bleeds, when his country fails...
Mr. Taranbir Singh heard about this project...
and it did not take a minute to extend his generosity
by contributing Rs. 1,50,000 (one lakh fifty thousand)
a young and dynamic engineer from IIT kanpur
now living in New York...
God bless you sir.
may every soul that walks on this road remember your kindness
and bless your name now and forever more....... Amen
