Not sure why pakistanis think Indians don't eat meat but except for those states bordering Pak, every other state are hardcore non-veg eaters with chicken, goat & seafood being the primary consumablesindian muslims are biggest pussies they lack strength after all no beef to eat. mullah you are right like bjp mullahs. Soon you will be converting to meat eater you kutta sutra.
Here is a 2016. I'd say the non-veg eating population has only increased with time. The general perception of Pakistanis is that majority of Indians are vegetarians but in reality South, NE and Central Indians are all hardcore non-vegetarianssurvey 2014

FYI, there is no implication in Hinduism not to consume beef. Cow is considered sacred per Hinduism which is why most people refrain from eating beef purely out of choice. The news regarding violence against beef eaters/beef-ban or cow vigilantes is pretty much of a very minute scale but pseudo-secular media shows it with a magnifying glass which is why y'all assume the whole of India is facing that issue. Even though most Hindus refrain from eating beef and isn't really commonly available, they tend to consume large amounts of poultry/goat meat. My personal favorite is goat and used to have atleast 2-3 days a week. Here in the US, goat isn't commonly available which is why I opt for lamb or bison meat. People living along the coasts, particularly South Indian states consume seafood on a similar scaleWhat hypocrites and must be performing animal discrimination.
