Why aren’t many women protesting against Hasina?

@Nergal and @bluesky have shared few videos of agitation against BAL.

But I don’t see many women in those crowds.

Do they know the electorate contains 52% women?

And most thank Hasina for their emancipation.

I will only tolerate an US style election where Hasina wins despite losing the vote.

But I think Hasina CAN win an European style election as well.

If by chance a fair election happens BAL will not cross 50 seat mark. General people don't want BAL anymore.

BNP will get vote just by promising they will beat the shit out of BAL people. Peoples are absolutely fed up with BAL...

Very few people in BD vote for parties or have party loyalties beyond Dhaka.

It will be Hasina against no one.

People will not vote for no one.

The “professional party MEN” of the combined opposition - are frustrated they have been denied their share of graft - so putting everything on the line.

The orgy of graft and violence will cripple Bangladesh for years.

All of the gains of the last decade will end up in toilet.

Having said that, I am not opposed to prominent BAL crooks being picked out and killed or maimed.

Especially the uneducated thugs in key ministries.

Most women in Bangladesh don't go to political rallies. Politically aware or not. Even my uni educated friends avoids them.

Though in my observation, women from rural areas and less educated, habitually tends to vote for BNP.
