I know all the while the r/s between US and China is always complicated but close too. Walk street bank are glad Chinese value for money commodities are keeping US inflation low and reduce US product(Tesla car and apple product) cost down. They are also glad Chinese consumers are spending certain amount of money on US product. This well engineer cycle are working well for a decades.

Xi 2025 made in China indeed is threat to US domination of high end product. Yet Washington is also walking a tightrope as China is also an opportunity as customers while stable supplier of component for US finished products. My call is Taiwan will never be an issue for US in case of Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

China is a threat but destroying the US well engineer catalyst between US and China by having a war, will immediately cease this process and bring unimaginable damage to both. That is why US never cross the line for Taiwan and never pledge to defend Taiwan in face of PRC invasion. Its a stake too big for both.
