What is the purpose of visit of Pakistan Navy's visit to Oman, Mucat and port Victoria.

Pakistan Navy's flotilla is visiting various ports i.e Mucat, port Victoria. Under current situation, is it to detect or to put pressure on US bases in the Gulf and Deigo Garcia? Pls comment.

Pakistan navy has only recently started going that far. In the 90s when i was in the loop, if our ships went 100 miles out from Karachi, that was too far and something to brag among your colleagues..
