OSLO -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has been nominated for the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, but the conflict in Ukraine is also likely to be on the Nobel committee's agenda.

A record 278 candidates, including 47 organizations, received nominations for the 2014 prize, said the Norwegian Nobel Institute's director, Geir Lundestad.

In last 4-5 Years NATO took over or meddled around in Russian affairs indirectly

> Libyan crisis , and attack Russian ally and now country is in ruins, strategic territory lost from Russian perspective , it started with peace olive branch and for Libya to give up the chemical weapons. Russia was conned into believing the stories
> Iraq was already a mess so lets not go there
> Syria , again same strategy to provide funding and anti air heavy weaponry to local militia to destabilize Russian ally
> Then recently trouble in Venezuela etc
> Same with Iran recently all the neighbors of Iran have been supplied heavy weapons for possible military mission

So now Russia responded back by getting their own means to have Territory they followed same rules as west
