Trump is only really well liked by white baby boomers among the younger ones not so much this does not mean they are more liberal I think America Centrist politics is dying off the next decade both the FarLeft and Far Right will gain more ground as Americans get fed up more and more and the changing demographics

You have to be careful about using State elections as a measure for how the Federal elections go.

State elections typically revolve around local issues, which is why even reliably democrat/republican states can elect governors or legislators from the other party.

I think the House will stay Democrat and in the primaries will see more Far Left Candidates like AOC and her gang win more seats while the old hag Centrist folk retire Trump gets re-elected, Republicans keep the Senate perhaps or toss up but further polirization in American politics continues
