US Senator Harry Reid said that the US needs to improve relations with Pakistan.
Talking to the media in Washington, US Senator, Harry Reid said that cutting aid to Pakistan or reducing it would not be necessary as it could affect the efforts on the war against terror.
Senator Reid said that the US and Pakistan are going through a very difficult phase. He said that the US needs to see if relationship with Pakistan can be improved. The US government and the opposition leaders are discussing relations with Pakistan after the operation against Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad.
Senator Reid said that Senator John Kerry told him about his visit to Pakistan and said that Pakistani officials are taking step to improve relation with the United States.
