Notice? First of all there should be approval, not notice. Second of all, we are still there that foreign military should not operate in Pakistan.

This is what should happen:

1) US should request to hit a target in Pakistan
2) The military studies the target, gets approval from the PM
3) Use of chopper raid, Pakistani drones or air force should be determined to hit that target

(I know Pakistan does not have UCAV yet).
4) The attack should be made public within 1 week, with full details, satellite imagery and other surveillance.

If you ask an american, he would insert the following point between point 2 and 3

2.5) Identify if there are any strategic assets of Pakistan among the target and tip them off..

Thats why your process wont work..Americans do not trust Pakistanis enough to allow this level of insight into their drone program

That whole process takes a long time from requesting to hit a target to final execution what if it is a high level target which needs to be neutralised asap?

You are talking about taking lives and firing missiles into residential areas. If the worthiness of the target can't be established on time that means there is some doubt, which means you have decided to kill a whole bunch of people on a half baked theory associating guilt?

US Drone strikes should be stopped regardless of any if's and but's.

American's should provide Drone technology to Pakistan and share information with Pakistani military intelligence so if there is any action needs to be taken, It should only be taken by the Pakistani army. If they do not want to trust Pakistan, they can simply go to hell.
