Greeting on Independence Day, Hillary Clinton says US is committed friend of Pakistan.
"Whether you celebrate this special day with family, friends, or loved ones, know that the United States stands with you as a committed partner and friend," Ms Clinton said in a statement issued on the eve of Pakistan s Independence Day.
"On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I am delighted to send best wishes to the people of Pakistan as you celebrate 65th independence this August 14," Clinton said.
"Since your independence in 1947, you have worked to build a strong nation that honours your distinct culture and history. Day in and day out you demonstrate your unique spirit and resilience as you strengthen security, economic stability, and democratic principles that will benefit all Pakistanis," she said.
As Qaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah said, "If we want to make this great State of Pakistan happy and prosperous, we should wholly and solely concentrate on the well-being of the people".
Ms Clinton said, "On this joyous occasion, the United States joins you in celebrating the anniversary of Pakistan s birth, and we renew our commitment to working with the people of Pakistan to promote greater peace and prosperity for both our people".

We appreciate Ms. Clinton's wishes to Pakistan on Independence day but we have extreme concerns over her wishes to be a partner of Pakistan as it seems like "Baghal mein churi, mun mein rama ram. (peace words while carrying knife in hands) " We can't make partnership while Pakistanis give lives for war on terrorism and nuke agreements done with India, partnership is impossible while Pakistan made everything to stabilize Afghanistan and US pushes India ahead in Afghanistan for bigger role, partnership can't possible while US put restrictions over military sale and on other side establishing wholesale market for all sort of military equipments for India, partnership can't possible when US want Pakistan's assistance in regional geopolitical maters but on other side doing all to harm our Kashmir cause in USA, UN and in world community.
What kind of partnership descriptions in their means!?
