A 3-member delegation United States based, Global Training Unit, led by its Training Coordinator, Naydja Bell met with Additional Inspector General Sindh Police Ghulam Hyder Jamali at the Central Police Office here.
The delegation discussed the details of proposed short training courses which will be organized by the US Consulate for the officials and personnel of Sindh Police for their capacity building, said a statement on Thursday.
It informed the Additional IG Sindh that the Global Training Unit will conduct short-term training courses based on modern technology for the Sindh Police.
The delegation informed that it will also visit the Police Training Centre in this regard.
The statement said that the delegation also held meeting with Inspector General of Sindh Police, Iqbal Mehmood and informed him that the training courses will enhance the capacity of the police personnel to cope with the crimes in more effective and better manner.
Talking to the delegation, the IG Sindh appreciated the efforts of the delegation and said reformatory steps are being taken in the Sindh Police.
